Senior Accounting Manager Location: Madrid Contract Type: Permanent Work Schedule: Full-time (On-site) Start Date: Immediate About GRC IM GRC IM is a Real Estate investment and asset management platform focused on residential and hospitality assets across Southern Europe. The group operates through corporate structures, including multiple SPVs, and is actively involved in acquisition, development, repositioning, and operation of Real Estate assets in partnership with institutional investors and financial institutions. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to strengthen the financial control and reporting function across the group. The role combines accounting oversight, reporting, tax coordination, and financing support, with exposure to complex real estate structures and transactions. Key Responsabilities • Oversee the accounting of multiple group entities (SPVs, holdings, and operating companies), ensuring full compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC) and applicable regulations., • Manage and review day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accruals, provisions, amortizations, and intercompany transactions., • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)., • Support consolidation processes and prepare reporting packages for management, investors, and lenders., • Perform financial analysis at asset and project level, supporting business plan monitoring and investment performance tracking., • Oversee tax compliance across entities (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, withholdings), coordinating closely with external tax advisors and supporting tax structuring initiatives., • Assist in the preparation of annual accounts, corporate filings, and documentation for boards and shareholders., • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audits and responding to information requests., • Support treasury management, including cash flow monitoring, debt tracking, and preparation of financial information required by banks and investors., • Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting systems. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s in Tax, Audit, or Finance is a plus)., • 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit., • Proven experience working with multi-entity structures and SPVs, ideally within the Real Estate or hospitality sector., • Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC) and tax compliance framework., • Experience interacting with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and investors., • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems., • Solid understanding of financial statements, reporting processes, and basic financing structures.
