Main Responsibilities • Validate trial payroll runs performed by external payroll providers and identify any inconsistencies., • Address payroll discrepancies through coordination with technical and business stakeholders, apply corrective actions, and perform necessary retesting., • Handle the end-to-end preparation and processing of regular payroll cycles., • Manage off-cycle payroll runs, including calculations associated with employee terminations., • Reconcile, balance, and transmit all payroll related data, reports, and interfaces with financial institutions and external providers., • Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees and relevant third parties, including statutory authorities and external vendors., • Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries within agreed service levels., • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll service providers., • Perform and document internal controls to support data integrity and payroll accuracy., • Prepare and review payroll journal entries, collaborating closely with Finance and Accounting teams to secure accurate payroll postings in Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet accounts., • Maintain and regularly update process documentation for all owned payroll processes., • Support the preparation of annual and monthly payroll cost reporting and liaise with cost management or financial planning teams as required., • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Qualifications and Requirements • Experience working in a shared services or centralized payroll environment with exposure to multiple countries (minimum three years)., • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or any related field., • Strong command of English and French ., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook., • Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles., • Preferred: Previous experience in payroll operations or accounting, including knowledge of statutory payroll regulations such as taxation, social security, pensions, and other mandatory contributions.
