Under the guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage, the Director of Banquets is responsible for leading and managing the banquet team and operation. You’ll deliver high quality products and service levels while maintaining a profitable department. Establish, monitor, and manage budgeted revenue and net operating income. Develop and implement strategy for the department to achieve budgeted revenue and net operating income goals. Work closely with the Sales and Events teams to ensure guests expectations are met and exceeded. Establish and champion SLS specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the department. Oversee all aspects of training, orientation, and development for the department. Monitor quality of service and product. Ensure that labor and expense guidelines are adhered to maintain budgeted expenses. Supervise and provide leadership to the team. Organize and conduct department meetings. Promote guest satisfaction throughout the operation. Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner. Manage all phases of Loss Prevention within the department.
