Our PR department connects the brand with journalists, media outlets, opinion leaders, and international communities, generating visibility and building strategic relationships that amplify our message. Role Mission As PR Manager, you will help to define and execute ERIKALUST’s global PR strategy, identifying priority markets, cultural moments, and strategic opportunities worldwide. You will work across regions, leading agencies and collaborators, and building partnerships that expand the brand’s presence beyond traditional media — through events, cultural institutions, and aligned brands. Working closely with the Head of Public Relations, the PR Manager and cross-functional teams, you will help position ERIKALUST as a global cultural leader, ensuring relevance and impact across diverse audiences, cities, and media ecosystems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and evolve ERIKALUST’s global PR strategy, identifying priority markets (U.S., U.K., Europe, and beyond) and adapting narratives to local cultural contexts., • Proactively lead ongoing media outreach across priority markets, identifying and pitching new journalists and outlets, managing consistent follow-ups, and expanding ERIKALUST’s international media ecosystem., • Develop and secure media narratives that position Erika Lust as a global voice in culture, ethics, sexuality, and innovation., • Strengthen internal PR operations by supporting cross-functional coordination, refining workflows, maintaining media databases and reporting systems, and ensuring smooth execution of global communication processes., • Coordinate and manage international PR agencies and external collaborators, ensuring alignment with global objectives, messaging, and KPIs., • Identify and activate strategic partnerships with brands, cultural institutions, festivals, and aligned organizations to amplify reach and relevance., • Support and help execute PR-driven events and collaborations in Barcelona and other key cities, including launches, talks, screenings, panels, and experiential activations., • Spot global cultural moments and trends, translating them into media opportunities, partnerships, or events with international resonance., • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with journalists, editors, cultural leaders, and partners across multiple markets., • Measure global PR performance, extracting insights across regions to continuously refine strategy and impact., • Willingness and availability to travel and represent the brand at industry events when required. EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Film, or related fields., • Postgraduate studies or specialized training in PR, media, or cultural industries are a plus. EXPERIENCE • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Public Relations, Communications, or media-related roles, either in-house or within PR / communications agencies., • Proven experience working with international communication strategies., • Background in culture, media, entertainment, film, fashion, tech, or adjacent creative industries is strongly valued., • Experience supporting or executing partnerships, collaborations, or PR-driven events is a plus. SKILLS • Strong understanding of global media landscapes, with the ability to navigate different cultural sensitivities, narratives, and press ecosystems., • Ability to localize strategies for different countries and cities without fragmenting the brand voice., • Comfort working across time zones, markets, and international teams. TECHNICAL SKILLS • Excellent writing and editing skills, combined with a strong understanding of the international media landscape, press dynamics, and cultural trends, enabling the creation of clear and compelling narratives for media, partners, and internal stakeholders., • Hands-on experience with media management platforms (Muck Rack, Highrise, or similar), • Ability to track media coverage, extract actionable insights, and produce reports aligned with PR KPIs., • Comfortable working with cross-functional tools, shared databases, and reporting documents. SOFT SKILLS • Strong alignment with ERIKALUST’s values, mission, and cultural vision., • Strategic mindset combined with operational autonomy., • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and a creative, solution-oriented approach., • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines., • Excellent communication skills across channels (email, calls, meetings)., • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. LANGUAGES • English: Native or full professional proficiency (mandatory)., • Spanish: Highly valuable / strongly preferred., • Additional languages are highly valued.
