You will be responsible for bringing characters to life with nuance, weight, and personality, ensuring that every frame resonates with our global audience. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between creative vision and technical execution. High-End Execution: Deliver top-tier animation featuring strong acting and clear storytelling. You will set the quality benchmarks for the entire animation team, ensuring that performances are not just functional, but memorable. Ownership of Complexity: Take full charge of the most challenging shots and sequences. You will navigate both creative and technical hurdles to deliver final renders that exceed the expectations of the Director and Supervisors. Creative Collaboration: Work in lockstep with Animation Leads and Supervisors. You must be able to interpret high-level creative direction and translate abstract feedback into tangible, high-quality animation beats. Leadership & Mentorship: Support Animation Leads by reviewing the work of junior and mid-level animators. You will provide constructive, actionable, and empathetic feedback to foster professional growth within the team. Style Consistency: Maintain a rigorous eye for style, performance, and continuity across the entire project. You ensure that characters remain “on model” in their movement and personality from the first episode to the last. Pipeline Efficiency: Anticipate production bottlenecks before they happen. You are expected to propose technical or creative solutions to improve the pipeline workflow, helping the studio stay agile and efficient. Project Management Integration: Provide reliable task estimates to the Production department and ensure all deadlines are met without compromising the artistic integrity of the work. Core Requirements: Professional Journey: A minimum of 3 to 6+ years in a professional animation production environment (Feature Film, high-end TV Series, or premium Digital Content). The Portfolio: A strong demo reel that showcases a deep understanding of body mechanics, facial acting, and subtle emotional performance. We want to see characters that think and feel, not just move. Communication Mastery: Proficiency in English is required (Spanish is a plus). You must be able to articulate technical issues and creative choices clearly to a multicultural team. Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable mindset. We value “problem solvers” who can adapt to changing project needs with a positive, collaborative attitude. Technical “Nice to Haves”: Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Maya. Technical Awareness: A deep understanding of rigs, constraints, and the ability to troubleshoot technical glitches within a scene without waiting for a rigger. Storytelling Intuition: A proven ability to take scripts, storyboards, and animatics and elevate them through performance choices that add depth to the original vision. Workflow Knowledge: Deep knowledge of production pipelines and how animation interacts with upstream (Layout/Rigging) and downstream (Lighting/FX) departments. LIVING AND WORKING IN LAS PALMAS Optimal Work-Life Balance: Our schedule is specifically designed to respect your personal time. With a 14:00 finish every Friday, you have the entire weekend to explore the stunning beaches, volcanic landscapes, and vibrant culture of the Canary Islands. The Climate: Enjoy a subtropical climate year-round in a city that blends European infrastructure with an island pace of life. It is the perfect environment for creative inspiration. Contract Details: This is a “Temporal por obra en régimen de artista (BT),” providing a stable framework for the duration of the project. While the current estimate runs through June 27, 2026, Amuse is a rapidly growing company with a constant slate of new projects, often leading to long-term career paths for our senior talent. DETAILED PROJECT EXPECTATIONS As a Senior 3D Animator member of the team, your influence extends beyond your own desk. You will act as a key point of reference for both artistic and technical matters. You will be expected to: Liaise with Rigging: Provide professional feedback on character rigs to ensure they meet the ergonomic and performance needs of the animation team. Storyboard Analysis: Identify potential production “red flags” in animatics early in the process to save hundreds of man-hours during the animation phase. Quality Control: Ensure that all files delivered to the next department in the pipeline are clean, optimized, and meet the rigorous technical requirements of the studio. #J-18808-Ljbffr
