Our client, a multinational company and global leader in the development and manufacturing of Home Care, Personal Care, Air Care, and Pest Control products—recognized as a global leader in product development and manufacturing for major FMCG brands in Home & Personal Care thanks to its ability to offer both optimized global solutions and products adapted to local markets—is looking to hire an Innovation Project Manager to join their team in Barcelona. Role Purpose Lead end-to-end innovation and product development projects in an FMCG environment, ensuring flawless execution, strong stakeholder alignment, and on-time delivery. We’re looking for someone who makes things happen: takes full ownership, drives decisions, removes blockers, and keeps teams accountable to outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Own projects from idea to launch (concept → execution) • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, plan, and success criteria from brief to launch., • Build and maintain the master plan (timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions)., • Run tight operating cadence: weekly tracking, change control, early escalation. 2. Orchestrate cross-functional delivery • Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders, • Remove bottlenecks, resolve priority conflicts, and drive accountability., • Ensure output quality and timeline adherence; push time-to-market. 3. Stakeholder management + executive alignment • Secure sponsorship and continuous alignment across internal/external stakeholders., • Lead project governance: clear decisions, trade-offs, owners, and next steps., • Provide senior-level communication: status, risks, impact, and recommendations. 4. Contribute to commercial growth • Partner with Sales to support innovation inputs for opportunities and customer conversations., • Translate customer needs into actionable proposals with a solid business rationale. 5. High-impact communication & presentations • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to customers and leadership: benefits, differentiation, costs/timing, risks, and execution plan. Experience • 8+ years in Project Management / Product Delivery / NPD Program Management in FMCG or similarly fast-paced environments., • Proven track record leading multi-team, multi-stakeholder international projects with on-time delivery under pressure., • Real experience handling demanding stakeholders (internal and/or customers) and complex decision-making. Soft skills • Cross-functional leadership: proven ability to mobilize teams and deliver outcomes without hierarchical authority., • Excellent executive communication (written + verbal): clarity, synthesis, influence., • Bias to action / sense of urgency: proactive, escalates early, drives decisions, outcome-focused., • Strong prioritization, negotiation, and conflict resolution., • Hands-on mindset: not just coordinating, closing topics and ensuring delivery. Education • Degree in Business, or Engineering. Technical profiles must demonstrate business orientation and commercial judgment. Languages & mobility • Professional English., • Professional Spanish
