All three operating segments work together to deliver attractive financial outcomes for our clients, and superior shareholder returns. /ppThrough our behaviours of btelling it like it is, owning it now, and moving it forward together /b with bcare and integrity; /b we are creating an exceptional place to work for exceptional talent. /ppWe will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and also offer work place accommodations to ensure you have what you need to effectively deliver in your role. /ph3The Role /h3pWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events Executive to support the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of client, proprietary, third-party and internal events across Spain and Latin America. /ppWorking closely with key stakeholders across Distribution, Marketing and Investments, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality event experiences that strengthen client relationships, enhance brand presence and support business objectives. /ppThe role offers exposure to a broad range of event formats, from conferences and roadshows to flagship events and senior stakeholder engagements, requiring strong project management, communication and stakeholder coordination skills. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead the end-to-end planning and delivery of proprietary events across Europe, with a particular focus on the Spanish market, including conferences, roadshows, and seasonal client events. /liliSupport the coordination and delivery of client visits to MG's UK headquarters, ensuring a seamless and professional experience. /liliManage the full lifecycle of third-party events, conferences, sponsorships, and trade shows, from initial planning through to on-site execution and post-event evaluation. /liliWork closely with the Global Events Lead and Senior Event Manager to support the delivery of flagship, cross-channel events and large-scale strategic initiatives in London. /liliDevelop comprehensive event plans and briefs, ensuring clear objectives, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution. /liliCoordinate speaker management activities, including speaker sourcing, fund manager engagement, travel arrangements, and detailed itinerary creation. /liliSource, negotiate, and manage event venues and suppliers, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for money. /liliMonitor and manage event budgets, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation, maintaining strong financial control and reporting. /liliCreate and execute integrated event marketing and communication plans, including CRM campaign management, email marketing through Eloqua, and event microsite development. /liliEnsure all event communications and collateral comply with internal governance, brand standards, and regulatory requirements. /liliDeliver exceptional on-site event experiences, proactively managing logistics and resolving issues in real time. /liliCoordinate attendee logistics, including travel, accommodation, and transfer arrangements for speakers, clients, and internal stakeholders. /liliConduct post-event analysis and reporting, leveraging feedback and performance metrics to identify insights and drive continuous improvement. /liliMaintain a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all event activities adhere to company policies and local market regulations. /li /ulh3Key Knowledge, Skills And Experience /h3ulliExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills, particularly Spanish, or French, would be advantageous. /liliProven experience in event coordination or event management, ideally gained within the financial services sector. /liliStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. /liliExperience using CRM and marketing platforms, with knowledge of Salesforce and Eloqua considered beneficial. /liliExceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex activities, and meet tight deadlines. /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. /liliDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality outcomes. /liliResilient and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. /liliFlexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to travel as required. /liliSelf-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. /li /ulpWork Level : Colleague /ppWe have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at MG plc, underpinned by our policies and our employee-led networks who provide networking opportunities, advice and support for the diverse communities our colleagues represent.
