THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Wealth Management & Insurance is looking for a Product Owner Insurance Value Chain Manager based out of Madrid. Lead the development and execution of Santander's global digital insurance initiatives and embedded insurance capabilities across the bank ecosystem. We're shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: • Driving the evolution of the global insurance digital ecosystem, • Leading strategic digital insurance projects across channels and countries, • Developing embedded insurance propositions integrated into banking journeys, • Coordinating and leading an international development squad based in Brazil, • Building scalable, reusable and modular digital insurance capabilities, • Ensuring alignment between business, customer experience and technology teams You will act as the key bridge between business strategy, customer needs and technology execution. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY This role covers: • Embedded insurance initiatives across Santander channels, • Insurance customer journeys and servicing, • Insurance APIs and reusable capabilities, • Insurance marketplace and digital distribution, • Cross-country digital insurance initiatives, • Coordination of nearshore development teams Examples of embedded insurance initiatives may include: • Insurance integration within Global Cards journeys, • StarPass insurance propositions, • Embedded protection experiences within banking products and channels, • Contextual and personalized insurance offers across digital touchpointsKEY RESPONSABILITIESDigital Insurance Strategy & Vision, • Define and evolve the digital insurance roadmap in alignment with business priorities, • Drive the embedded insurance strategy across Santander ecosystems, • Identify opportunities to integrate insurance into banking journeys and digital experiences, • Ensure alignment with Global Digital strategy, Customer experience vision, Technology architecture, and Commercial prioritiesProduct Ownership & Digital Delivery, • Own and prioritize the digital insurance backlog, • Translate business needs into epics, features and user stories, • Lead end-to-end delivery of digital insurance initiatives, • Ensure scalable and reusable capability development, • Drive agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement, • Coordinate releases, testing and production readinessEmbedded Insurance Development Lead the development of embedded insurance experiences across Santander channels, including: • Digital onboarding journeys and ecosystems, • Cards and payments journeys, • Contextual insurance offers, • Integrated protection services, • Drive seamless customer experiences combining banking and insurance propositions.Team Leadership & Delivery Coordination, • Lead and coordinate a development squad based in Brazil, • Foster collaboration between Global business teams and Brazil technology teams, • Ensure delivery quality, execution discipline and agile best practices, • Manage priorities, dependencies and delivery timelines, • Promote a high-performance and customer-centric cultureCustomer Experience & Journey Design, • Design end-to-end digital insurance journeys, • Improve customer servicing and self-service capabilities, • Ensure omnichannel consistency across experiences, • Drive personalization and contextual engagement, • Enable frictionless customer interactionsStakeholder Management, • Coordinate with global and local insurance teams and countries, • Partner with digital, technology, data and business stakeholders, • Align priorities across countries and platformsWhat You'll Bring The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role. Professional Experience • 12 years of experience in:, • Product Owner (Required), • Digital Product Management (Required), • Digital Transformation (Required), • Insurance or Financial Services (Required), • Strong experience delivering digital products and platforms (Required), • Experience working in agile environments with technology teams (Required), • Experience managing distribution or international teams (Required), • Proven experience leading complex digital initiatives end-to-end (Required), • Experience in platform-based or modular architecture (Preferred), • Experience in insurance ecosystems or marketplaces (Preferred), • Experience in global / multi-country environments (Preferred)Education, • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
