About the Company The Gateway Project Manager (EMEA) is responsible for end-to-end project management of all service delivery activities related to gateway deployment, activation, scaling, and operational readiness across the EMEA region. This role ensures timely, coordinated, and high-quality delivery of gateway infrastructure by managing schedules, risks, dependencies, cross-functional alignment, and KPI performance. This position leads execution across engineering, deployment, operations, partners, and local site teams to ensure gateways are delivered on time, meet capacity and performance requirements, and support regional service-growth objectives. Operating at the intersection of large-scale infrastructure delivery and advanced satellite gateway technology, this role requires a blend of technical understanding, program-management discipline, and operational urgency. The Gateway Project Manager must navigate complex multi-country regulatory processes, cross-partner coordination, and accelerated timelines while ensuring each gateway meets stringent technical, capacity, and service-readiness standards across diverse EMEA markets. About the Role The Gateway Project Manager (EMEA) is responsible for end-to-end project management of all service delivery activities related to gateway deployment, activation, scaling, and operational readiness across the EMEA region. Responsibilities Gateway Deployment & Service Delivery Project Management • Lead and manage all service delivery project activities for EMEA gateway rollouts, upgrades, and expansions., • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery trackers aligned with regional objectives., • Ensure timely execution of planning, installation, integration, and operational readiness phases. Cross-Functional Coordination & Partner Alignment • Coordinate with engineering, RF, core, gateway, regulatory, logistics, site vendors, and operations teams., • Drive synchronization across partners, suppliers, and local site teams., • Ensure all stakeholder groups are aligned on responsibilities, deadlines, and delivery criteria. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies across gateway delivery projects., • Monitor issues impacting timelines and escalate when required., • Track dependencies across power, regulatory approvals, backhaul provisioning, and hardware readiness. KPI Management, Performance Tracking & Reporting • Define, measure, and report KPIs related to gateway readiness, delivery speed, and quality., • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on project status, risks, and achievements., • Integrate KPI data into regional dashboards and governance routines. Operational Readiness & Handover Enablement • Ensure gateways meet acceptance criteria and operational requirements., • Deliver structured handover packages, playbooks, and documentation., • Validate post-delivery performance and transition to steady-state monitoring. Continuous Improvement & Delivery Optimization • Identify workflow gaps and process inefficiencies., • Recommend improvements for tools, templates, and delivery processes., • Promote best practices across EMEA gateway deployment teams. Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Project Management, or related field., • Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus. Experience • 5–8 years in telecom project management, service delivery, gateway deployment, or network rollout., • Experience managing telecom infrastructure or satellite network projects across EMEA., • Proven ability coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners., • Experience managing large-scale deployment KPIs and operational readiness programs. Required Skills Technical Expertise • Knowledge of telecom gateways, satellite ground infrastructure, RAN/core/gateway integration., • Familiarity with backhaul provisioning, power/cooling requirements, rack deployment., • Experience with KPI tracking for delivery performance and capacity scaling., • Understanding of deployment standards and acceptance frameworks. Professional Skills • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination., • Excellent communication and reporting abilities., • Highly organized with strong multi-project execution capabilities., • Ability to escalate appropriately and manage complex project pressures., • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional decision-making skills. Technology Proficiency • Project tools: Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet., • Documentation tools: Confluence, SharePoint, Miro., • Reporting tools: Excel, Power BI, Tableau., • Familiarity with ITSM systems and integration workflows. Requirements • Ability to work in office or hybrid environments., • Willingness to travel across EMEA for gateway deployments, vendor meetings, and audits., • Valid Work Permit Required.
