e-Commerce Trading Director – Iberia The Ecommerce Trading Director – Iberia is a senior, commercially driven leader responsible for driving ecommerce performance across a portfolio of merchandise partners within the Iberian region. This role acts as the strategic and operational bridge between Legends and our regional merchandise partners, ensuring alignment across trading, merchandising, marketing, and digital execution. The core objective is to deliver profitable, high- performing ecommerce programs by partnering closely with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to optimize assortment, inventory flow, campaign activation, and digital execution tailored to the Iberian market. The role requires strong commercial acumen, regional market expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across partner organizations. Through data-led insights, structured performance governance, and best practice implementation, the Ecommerce Trading Director will ensure partners maximize conversion, revenue, and customer lifetime value across their official ecommerce channels. A key deliverable is driving trading excellence across Iberia — aligning merchandising strategy, campaign execution, and digital optimization to unlock sustainable regional growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Regional Strategy & Commercial Ownership • Lead the ecommerce trading strategy across the Iberian partner portfolio., • Own delivery against regional revenue, margin, conversion., • Serve as the senior commercial escalation point for Iberian partners., • Conduct structured business reviews, providing insights, growth plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Merchandising & Inventory Alignment • Partner closely with buying and merchandising teams to influence assortment planning, launch strategy, pricing, and sell-through performance., • Provide analytics-driven recommendations to optimize stock depth, lifecycle management, and campaign prioritization., • Ensure regional campaign calendars align with product availability and commercial priorities., • Maintain best-in-class on-site merchandising standards across all Iberian sites. Trading Optimization & Performance Growth • Drive growth through continual optimization of traffic, conversion rate, • Lead structured experimentation and A/B testing initiatives to improve performance., • Identify funnel friction and partner with UX and development teams to enhance customer journeys., • Ensure effective utilization of ecommerce platforms and third-party tools. Marketing & Channel Collaboration • Align with regional marketing teams across CRM, PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display, and Paid Social to ensure cohesive commercial execution., • Provide commercial input into campaign planning and promotional strategy., • Monitor marketing efficiency and contribution to regional revenue and margin targets. Cross-Functional Leadership • Coordinate with internal ecommerce, design, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless regional execution., • Influence roadmap priorities to support Iberian trading objectives., • Lead change initiatives to evolve the regional ecommerce offering in line with market needs., • Report performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Team Leadership • Coach and develop a team of account managers supporting Iberian partners., • Set KPIs aligned to regional commercial targets., • Foster a performance-driven, data-led culture within the team. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS • Minimum 10 years’ experience operating retail ecommerce businesses, preferably within sports or licensed merchandise., • Strong understanding of Iberian ecommerce market dynamics., • Proven experience driving revenue growth and margin improvement within a regional ecommerce structure., • Advanced knowledge of analytics platforms, ecommerce technologies, and trading KPIs., • Strong understanding of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization., • Solid grasp of inventory management, OTB processes, and product lifecycle planning., • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills., • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish and English highly desirable)., • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint., • Willingness to travel regionally and work flexibly as business needs require.
