As Reservations agent you will be responsible for helping our guests with their individual reservations as well as advising them on the best option for their needs, also you will support them with any issue that they have. Reports to the Director of Revenue Management. Your day-to-day • Handle all requests for guest room reservations, changes and cancellations in according with the established guidelines., • Follow up on small party groups (9 rooms or less) and make sure they are guaranteed, • Handle group rooming lists with the supervision of the Sales Department, • Follow up on any possible fraudulent reservation that may impact the revenue performance, • Ensure that communication with other departments, especially Credit, Sales, Concierge and Front Desk and any other concerned department is maintained, • Make sure deposits and cancellation fees are handle and done by the Front Desk Team, • Ensures reservation accuracy (segment, channel, routings, traces, etc), • Handle no shows and control non-guaranteed reservations, • Provide personalized and attentive guest service, attending and adapting to the guest's requests and needs as well as providing all necessary information about the hotel facilities and destination. In this role, the Sales, Events and Marketing intern will be able to fully experience the sales and marketing department of KIMPTON AYSLA MALLORCA with a hands-on approach. After completing this program, the intern will have learned what a real sales and marketing department is about and will be fully immersed in the Kimpton Culture. As Restaurant Manager, you'll need to bring the best out of your team in a fast-paced environment to give our guests the outlet experience they've come to expect. You'll oversee and support a team of supervisors, as well Eas the entire front of house operation.Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage Your day-to-day • Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation., • Ensure the food & beverage concept of the restaurant is well executed and expectations of guests and the team are accomplished whilst continually looking for areas to improve., • Continually update service offerings in line with trends and guest expectations., • Connect with colleagues and guests alike in a positive and friendly manner., • Work closely with the kitchen team and the Food & Beverage Director to ensure that communication is strong between the entire team., • Manage food & beverage control including inventory, bar pars, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns and food standards., • Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to., • Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all stock items are managed., • Ensure that the food & beverage team is continually trained in product and menu knowledge., • Lead your team effectively with on-going service standards training and personal development plans., • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food & beverages to meet set standards., • Oversee staff training and carry out on-the-job training where required. What we need from you • College and/or advanced training in food and beverage management., • 2+ years' experience working as Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced environment ideally in an independent restaurant or in an outlet within a hotel., • Must be fluent in local language and English, German will be highly valuable., • Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker and with passion for service., • Knowledge of MICROS system will be valuable., • Wine knowledge will be valuable. About the job What's the Job? As the friendly face of our hotel restaurant, you'll also be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Whether you're preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or serving them delicious food, you'll be devoted to creating relaxing, memorable experiences. Reports to the Restaurant Manager. Your day-to-day: Support the Restaurant Manager in any required task. Manage reservations control including individual and group requests. Be the link between R&B operations and S&M team. Implement greeting standards throughout R&B departments. Train staff on reservation handling. Liaise with Chef to keep all R&B menus clean and up to date. Assist R&B teams in their specific duties. Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to. Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all paper stock items are managed. Ensure correct closing day procedures are followed. Prepare welcome package for all new R&B team members. Keep all training manuals up to date. What we need from you 1+ years' experience working within hotel/restaurant. Must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages will be highly valuable.
