The Product Innovation & Development team is based in Seville. As part of this group, you will join a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified engineers in power electronics, control systems, firmware, software, hardware, test & validation, and mechanical systems. You will contribute to the development of innovative modular converter platforms for grid-connected and DC applications. How You’ll Make An Impact • Define and execute test plans for power electronics systems and components., • Design, implement, and optimise test benches for the validation of converters and subsystems., • Perform functional, performance, and stress tests in both lab and field environments., • Collect, analyse, and interpret measurement data, generating clear and reusable technical reports., • Ensuring testing activities comply with applicable standards and safety regulations., • Support hardware, firmware, and software teams in debugging and resolving detected issues., • Contribute to the automation of test procedures and efficiency improvements., • Participate in the prototype implementation and validation phases., • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)., • Experience in testing and validation of electronic systems, preferably in power electronics or energy systems., • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power analysers, multimeters, etc.)., • Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (Python valued)., • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively., • Test management and certification processes., • Hands-on commissioning of converters and energy storage systems., • Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and simulation tools., • Previous experience in renewable energy or power electronics industries. The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design, size, and optimise electrical systems for industrial equipment and power electronics applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions comply with international standards and deliver high performance, reliability, and safety in the energy sector. How You’ll Make An Impact • Execute the electrical design of industrial equipment using EPLAN or similar electrical design tools., • Size LV and MV electrical systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications., • Select and justify electrical components through technical specifications and calculations., • Analyse and extract requirements from international standards applicable to our products., • Prepare electrical drawings for power converters, batteries, and medium-voltage protections., • Develop wiring diagrams and ensure electrical optimisation of products., • I'd appreciate it if you could contribute to product development and innovation with your technical expertise., • Prepare validation reports, technical documentation, instructions, and manuals., • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, or related field) is a minimum requirement., • Experience designing industrial equipment or facilities using electrical design tools., • Proficiency in one of the following: EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar software., • Strong user-level knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.)., • Professional experience in the sizing of electrical components and cabinets in LV and MV applications., • Fuse selection for battery applications, along with knowledge of safety regulations., • Design of electrical systems and power electronic converters and their control., • Design of power electronic equipment (semiconductors, capacitors, inductors, protections, and air/water cooling systems)., • Value engineering activities.
