About the Role: We are looking for a Manager, Engineering to lead our Experimentation & Optimization team. This is a deeply technical, hands-on leadership role focused on owning the architecture, development, and delivery of our A/B testing platform. As a supportive manager, you will manage a small team of developers and consultants while also serving as the primary technical authority on experimentation. You will partner with Product and Marketing leaders to translate their strategies into scalable, and high-quality A/B tests. You will report to the Engineering Director. You Will: • Own the technical roadmap, architecture, and end-to-end delivery for our entire experimentation program., • Manage, lead, and mentor a small team (3) of in-house developers and external consultants, overseeing their technical work, code quality, and project delivery., • Serve as our lead developer and subject matter expert for A/B Testing tools such as Optimizely / StatSig / Adobe Target etc, responsible for building, instrumenting, and deploying complex A/B/n and multivariate tests., • Architect and implement scalable and reusable experimentation solutions using your expert-level skills in JavaScript, Node.js, and React. You Have: • 7+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role, with a deep focus on front-end development & web architecture., • Expert-level, hands-on proficiency with an A/B Testing Platform such as Optimizely / StatSig / Adobe Target is a mandatory requirement. This is a daily, hands-on development/lead role., • Advanced mastery of modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript, Node.js, and React., • Experience with web performance optimization, APIs, and the technical intricacies of client-side and server-side experimentation., • Experience with modern cloud-based web application architectures., • Experience architecting technical solutions and building custom functionalities within major experimentation platforms., • A solid grasp of the statistical concepts that underpin A/B testing to ensure experimental validity is a good to have., • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
