Quality Control Coordinator – Head Office Inspection Department We are hiring a Quality Control Coordinator to be part of the Head Office Inspection Department, responsible for managing all inspection activities related to the purchase orders assigned to him/her. The coordinator will report to the Procurement QC Manager (Project) and to the Head of Quality Control Engineers section (Corporate). Responsibilities Review Project Specifications (Manufacturing, quality Control) and identify Quality Control requirements to be included in purchase orders. Internally review Quality Control requirements included in the purchase orders before issuance to vendors. Review and comment vendor manufacturing documents of the assigned purchase orders (e.g., reactors, columns, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air coolers, fired heaters, reformers, package units, piping material, electrical equipment, instruments, MAC/DCS). Main documents include Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Test Procedures, Visual/Dimensional Control Procedure, Final Quality Dossier, etc. Plan, coordinate and schedule workshop inspection visits with all inspection representatives (vendor, TR, client). Lead Pre-Inspection Meetings for the applicable purchase orders. Request and select adequate inspectors (internally and external inspection agencies) to cover all related inspection activities according to applicable ITPs. Handle Notifications of Inspections (NOIs) with all involved parties (vendor, TR, client). Attend critical inspection visits when needed. Review, control and distribute inspection reports. Manage NCRs with engineering, vendor and client. Participate in meetings with the rest of project areas and disciplines (engineering, procurement, construction) as needed. Work with technical departments and the rest of the project inspection team. Deal with client inspection representatives, attending meetings with them when necessary. Communicate fluently with vendors to assure that they understand all comments and project requirements, aiming to achieve a smooth manufacturing process. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering / Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience in quality control of manufacturing and welding processes of static equipment, valve and piping components; experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents. Deep knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE codes. Experience with common materials in the oil & gas industry (carbon steel, low alloy steel, austenitic stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, etc.). Knowledge of NDTs (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET). Fluent English written and spoken (B2-C1). Preferred Qualifications International Welding Engineer / Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/CSWIP). BGAS/NACE/FROSIO Painting and Coating Qualification. API Certifications (936, 570, 571, SIFE). Experience in PQR Qualification. Benefits Competitive salary depending on level of experience.
