What does the internship program entail? As a Tax & Treasury Intern, you will support our global Finance team, primarily the Tax and Treasury functions, by assisting with compliance, data preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, collection and organization of required documentation and data for audits, as well as the creation and maintenance of best‑practice documentation procedures and compliance workflows, cash operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The purpose of the internship is to give you a 360º view of global tax and corporate treasury in a global fintech environment, while helping the team improve accuracy, controls, and cycle-time across critical processes. You may also: Global Tax: • Assist with data gathering, validations and working papers for thirdparty preparation of tax returns., • Support VAT balance sheet reconciliations (monthly) and help investigate variances with accounting., • Coordinate tax payments partnering with treasury, • Help compile audit packs and respond to information requests during tax audits., • Contribute to maintaining transfer pricing documentation trackers, • Document process flows and SOPs and identify opportunities to automate reconciliations and checks., • Support daily cash positioning and bank statement reviews., • Help with payment runs, vendor data validation, and basic KYC/bank mandate updates with our banking partners., • Contribute to short-term liquidity forecasting, consolidating inputs from Accounting/FP&A., • Assist in FX exposure tracking (high-level), intercompany settlements and interest calculations (as guided)., • Help test controls (segregation of duties, approvals, evidence retention) and propose process improvements., • Support simple data quality scripts/checklists (e.g., Excel validations, pivot checks) to reduce manual errors., • Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to resolve data issues and align timelines., • Prepare concise summaries and slides to communicate findings and recommendations to the team.
