Would you like to make an impact as part of a company that builds the best mobile apps used by millions of users worldwide? If so, discover your next challenge below. As Creative Director, you will own the creative vision behind how the world discovers our apps, and you will make a real share of that work yourself. Working as a direct partner to the CEO and the Marketing Leadership, you will define our brand voice and visual identity across the portfolio, and lead the creative engine that fuels our growth: user-acquisition campaigns, store presence, social content and brand storytelling. This is a player-coach role. You will spend a significant part of your time hands-on: concepting, scripting, designing, animating and editing. You will also lead a team of creatives, setting direction, giving feedback and raising their craft. You will be accountable for creative that is both beautiful and effective, tying creative decisions directly to business results You will stay ahead of platforms and competitors, spotting formats, trends and creative angles before others do, and turning them into campaigns that scale. Together with Performance Marketing, Product and Design, you will shape how each app is positioned and launched, not just produce assets for it. Hands-on creation: concept, script, design, animate and edit high-impact creative, especially new concepts, launch campaigns and the ads that set the direction for the rest of the team. Creative vision and brand: define the brand identity, tone of voice and creative standards across the portfolio, while letting each app have its own personality. Team leadership: lead, mentor and grow a team of creatives; review work daily, give direct feedback, and hire as the team grows. Performance creative engine: lead the concepting and production of high-volume ad creative for paid channels (e.g. Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple Search Ads). Creative testing at scale: build a structured creative testing framework with Performance Marketing: hypotheses, iterations, learnings, and a clear process for scaling winners and killing losers fast. App launches and positioning: define the positioning, messaging and go-to-market creative for new apps from day one. Social and content: set the creative direction for organic social, creator partnerships and UGC, and write creator briefs yourself. Partners: manage external freelancers, studios and creators to scale output when needed. AI-native creative production: use generative AI tools yourself in ideation, scripting, image and video production, and bring those workflows to the team to multiply output without losing quality. You have solid experience in creative roles (advertising, brand and in-house marketing) You are still an active maker: you design, animate and edit regularly, not just direct. You have a portfolio that includes recent work you personally made, and shows both outstanding craft and measurable performance. Expert-level, hands-on skills in short-form video: hooks, storytelling, pacing, editing and platform-native formats. An artistic eye for color, composition, typography and motion, able to create and review any type of asset: Video ads, motion graphics, static and carousel ads, App Store assets (icons, screenshots, preview videos), social content and creator briefs, brand identity and campaign concepts Strong copywriting and concepting skills: you can write a hook as well as you can direct a visual. Strong understanding of mobile app growth and brands: user acquisition, the subscription funnel, and how creative drives it. A performance mindset. You think in hypotheses, angles and results, not just aesthetics. Comfortable working with data. You read ad dashboards, creative analytics and A/B test results to guide and defend creative decisions. Experience mentoring creatives and managing freelancers and creators. Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English. Able to pitch creative ideas in a compelling way, write clear briefs, and give direct, constructive feedback to the team. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including UX, engineering, product, and marketing. Experience in a portfolio or app studio model, running creative for several products at the same time. Flexible working hours. Competitive compensation High-end equipment for your development. Design vision and strategy: define the UI/UX principles, visual language and quality bar for the whole portfolio, and bring them to every product decision at leadership level. 0-1 launches: lead the experience for new apps from concept to launch, including research, benchmarking, prototyping and validation with real users. Craft and production quality: set the standard for every asset we ship: UI, illustrations, icons, motion, animations, store screenshots and videos, and make sure what engineering ships matches what was designed. Measurable design impact: work with Product and Data to turn onboarding, paywall, core flow and store-asset improvements into measurable gains in activation, conversion, retention and store conversion rate. Design system at scale: own a portfolio-wide design system that lets us launch new apps faster while keeping consistency and craft. AI-native design workflows: introduce AI tools into research, ideation, asset creation and prototyping to multiply the team's output. Build and scale design teams: hiring, mentoring and developing senior talent. Craft and technical expertise: Solid track record in product, UX/UI, or visual design, including leading design teams or a design function. Experience leading the design of consumer mobile apps from scratch to scale (ideally millions of users), with clear business impact you can quantify. A portfolio that shows both exceptional craft and strategic thinking: from early concepts to shipped, high-performing products. An artistic eye for color, composition, typography and motion, able to lead and review any type of asset. Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to jump in hands-on. Deep knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines, and of how to go beyond them to create distinctive experiences. Product and business focus: Experience owning design strategy at leadership level and influencing founders and executives on product direction. A product-first mindset: you think in user problems, hypotheses and outcomes, not just screens. Comfortable working with data: you use analytics, A/B tests and store metrics to guide and defend design decisions. Strong understanding of consumer app monetization (subscriptions, paywalls, onboarding) and how design moves it. Self-driven and entrepreneurial, with high ownership and comfort working directly with founders in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing. Experience in a portfolio or app studio model, managing design across several products at the same time. Remote work from anywhere in Spain. If you are based in Barcelona, we would love for you to join us at the office (Barcelona Tech City) at least two days a week. Flexible working hours. Permanent contract with competitive compensation. High-end equipment for your development. A top entrepreneurial team in a dynamic startup environment. Opportunity to lead, grow and take on big challenges. Work with cutting-edge technologies, including the chance to integrate AI models into new apps. TA Interview – Initial conversation to get to know each other and understand your background. CEO – Deep dive into your product thinking, design experience, and fit with the team. Technical Case – Practical exercise to assess your product, analytical, and strategic capabilities. Final Interview – Final conversation to ensure alignment on expectations, culture, and role fit. Labhouse is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. Labhouse is a fast-growing startup that builds, launches, and scales its own AI & Productivity Apps, operating under a subscription-based business model. Based in Barcelona, Labhouse was founded by Andrés Bou and Horacio Martos (Co-Founders of SocialPoint). We operate at the intersection of mobile technology, AI, and product-driven growth, with a strong focus on experimentation and performance. Would you like to make an impact as part of a company that builds the best mobile apps used by millions of users worldwide? If so, discover your next challenge below. At Labhouse we're looking to bring onto our Growth team someone who has deep mastery of one acquisition channel and can prove it with real numbers: how much they invested, over what period, and what growth that investment drove. We're not looking for a generalist who "touches a bit of everything." We're looking for specialists — in Apple Search Ads (ASA), Google (Ads Search, Display, Programmatic), Meta, AppLovin, YouTube, Unity, TikTok, UGC, or Influencer Marketing — who have pushed a channel to its maximum performance and can talk about concrete results, not theory. If your strength is one channel and you know it better than anyone, this role is for you. Manage and scale investment in your channel of expertise, with direct ownership over budget and results. Define and execute the acquisition strategy for that channel: segmentation, creatives, testing, bid and budget optimization. Report on performance rigorously (CAC, ROAS, LTV, incrementality) and make data-driven decisions. Collaborate with Product, Creative, and Data to continuously improve channel performance. Identify opportunities to expand into adjacent channels when the business needs it, without losing focus on your core area of expertise. Academic background: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued. Technical expertise: Demonstrable experience managing your own budget in one of these channels: Apple Search Ads (ASA), Google Ads Search, Google Display, Programmatic Marketing, Meta, AppLovin, YouTube, Unity Ads, TikTok, UGC, or Influencer Marketing. Ability to show, with concrete data, how much you invested and what growth that investment produced (figures, timeframes, results — not just "I managed campaigns on X"). Hands-on experience with the tracking, attribution, and analytics stack tied to your channel (e.g. MMPs, GA4, ad platform dashboards, BI tools). Problem-solving and product focus: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges. Eye for detail and a product-first mindset, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects. Communication: Excelletn level of spoken and written English. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing. Pluses that are needed occasionally: Experience in a second acquisition channel beyond your main one. Background in digital product / apps / e-commerce environments with a growth focus. Familiarity with creative testing and UGC/influencer content production Remote work from anywhere in Spain. If you are based in Barcelona, we would love for you to join us at the office (Barcelona Tech City) at least two days a week. Flexible working hours. High-end equipment for your development. Work with cutting-edge technologies, including the chance to integrate AI models into new apps. TA Interview – Initial conversation to get to know each other and understand your background. CEO / Marketing Team Interview – Deep dive into your Marketing & Product thinking, experience, and fit with the team. Technical Case – Practical exercise to assess your capabilities.
