La otra sede se encuentra en el Parque Tecnológico de Miramón e integra las aulas y laboratorios de investigación de las áreas de Electricidad, Electrónica y Comunicaciones.Join the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of TECNUN.A fully funded Ph D position is available at the Tecnun School of Engineering, University of Navarra, San Sebastián, Spain. The selected candidate will join the Wireless Instrument Group (WIN) at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong academic background to contribute to the development of 6 G technologies for Critical Cyber-Physical Systems (CCPS), such as smart grid and industrial robotics. The successful candidate will investigate advanced 6 G communication and computing orchestration schemes to meet the end-to-end Quality-of-Service requirements in real-world CCPS applications.The Key Responsibilities Include:Design integrated 6 G communication and computing orchestration schemes for CCPS.Develop experimental testbeds for performance evaluation and ntribute to ongoing EU- and nationally funded research projects, participating in experimental activities, dissemination, and joint publications.This position will be jointly supervised by Prof. Yuemin Ding and Prof. Ainhoa Rezola Garciandía at the University of Navarra, Spain, with visiting opportunities/stays in world-reputed research institutes.Tecnun, the Engineering School of the University of Navarra, offers a 3-year doctoral contract at the Technological Campus in San Sebastián (Spain).We provide an excellent, international, and multidisciplinary research environment with state-of-the-art facilities.Opportunities to visit world-reputed universities, research institutes, and industrial partners in and out of Spain.Hands-on training in developing and running experimental testbedsTraining in advanced research methodologies in 6 G communication & computingGuidance in publishing and presenting in top-tiered journals and conferencesInquires on the position can be directed via email to: Yuemin Ding (yueminding@tecnun.es)RequisitosQualification RequirementsAn MSc degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related fields.Language: English (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)Software:Proficiency in programming and Linux systems.Strong background in telecommunications, networking, and/or computing.Experiences in building wireless systems or experimental testbeds.Familiarity with 5 G standards and/or open-source projects, e.G.
