You’ll be the technical co-founder owning product architecture and velocity: • Lead end-to-end tech strategy: data, AI, APIs, security, cloud., • Turn research and user interviews into shippable product (MVP → v1 → scale)., • Build core services: assessments, recommendation engine, narrative generation, student profiles, progress & outcomes tracking., • Stand up clean, testable code and lean infra that’s cheap to run and easy to iterate., • Recruit and mentor a small, exceptional product/engineering team., • Stand up a thin vertical slice: onboarding → assessment → results → “what to do next”., • Design the data model for students, assessments, skills, and career paths., • Prototype and evaluate AI components (retrieval, scoring, narrative generation, guardrails)., • Instrument analytics and run experiments to validate activation, retention, and learning impact., • Ship weekly: ship > iterate > measure., • Education, not content: decisions, outcomes, and repeatable guidance., • AI + research: blend LLMs with validated frameworks (aptitudes, learning styles, job market signals)., • Consumer-grade UX: simple, credible, and motivating for students and families., • Have built and shipped consumer products end-to-end (0→1 and 1→n)., • Are comfortable owning full-stack: from schema design and APIs to frontend polish., • Care about measurement, experiment design, and product truth over opinions., • Have practical experience with LLMs and retrieval (prompting, evaluation, safety, costs)., • Communicate clearly, move fast, and enjoy building with customers., • Previous founder or early-stage CTO/Head of Engineering experience — ideally having taken a product from 0→1 and beyond., • Shipped consumer-facing products with strong adoption, ideally in EdTech, AI, or other recommendation-heavy verticals., • Deep knowledge of AI/ML trends — LLMs, recommendation systems, embeddings, vector databases, evaluation frameworks, and cost-optimization strategies., • Strong grounding in data architecture and security for consumer products: user privacy, consent, GDPR compliance, and scalable infra., • Track record of hiring, leading, and mentoring engineers , building a small but world-class team., • Experience running fast product experiments : A/B testing, feature flags, instrumentation, and metrics-driven iteration., • Languages & Frameworks : Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask), TypeScript/Node.js, or Go for performance-critical services., • AI/ML Ecosystem : LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack), model fine-tuning, open-source models (Hugging Face, Mistral, Llama), vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus), retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation harnesses., • Data & Infra : Postgres, scalable cloud DBs, event streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)., • Frontend & User Experience : React/Next.js, mobile (React Native/Flutter) — ensuring consumer-grade simplicity and delight., • DevOps & Reliability : CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus, Sentry), and cloud cost control., • Experimentation & Growth : Analytics (PostHog, Amplitude, Segment), feature flagging, growth experiments at scale., • Co-founder title with meaningful equity (to negotiate) ., • Ownership of product and technical direction., • A clear mission with real-world impact on students’ lives., • Flexibility on location (Alicante HQ, hybrid, or remote) and willingness to move if product demands it. Tell us about one product you shipped that changed behavior, what you measured, and what you’d do differently next time. Important questions to answer: • Why EdTech and not any other sector?, • If we asked your friends to describe you under pressure, what would they say? Only applicants submitting their application to the specific email and answering these questions will be reviewed. Thanks for reaching out and happy to meet soon! #J-18808-Ljbffr
