We support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle with a highly qualified engineering team, improving people’s lives worldwide. /p h3About the role /h3 pWe are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer (Electronics Hardware) responsible for managing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships, with a primary focus on electronic components while also covering mechanical parts, enclosures, and auxiliary equipment. The role focuses on ensuring the availability of critical materials, optimizing cost, lead time, and quality while mitigating supply risks in a fast-evolving environment. The Procurement Engineer will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Assurance, IMS, and Planning teams to align technical requirements with procurement strategies, playing a key role in industrialization and lifecycle management of our products. The role also contributes to supplier development, supplier audits, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of procurement processes. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liManage end-to-end procurement of electronic components and assemblies (PCBs, CPUs, RF components, etc.). /li liManage procurement of mechanical and auxiliary components (chassis, enclosures, cases, cabling, etc.). /li liIdentify, evaluate, and develop strategic suppliers across different categories (electronics and hardware). /li liNegotiate prices, lead times, and supply agreements, ensuring competitiveness and reliability. /li liCollaborate with Engineering in component selection, obsolescence management, and alternative sourcing. /li liMonitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. /li liAnticipate and mitigate supply chain risks (shortages, long lead times, single sourcing). /li liManage procurement activities through the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and traceability. /li liCoordinate with Planning and Production to ensure material availability aligned with demand. /li liContribute to cost reduction initiatives and long-term procurement strategies. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar (Master’s degree is a plus). /li liMinimum 4–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in electronic components, with exposure to mechanical or industrial parts. /li liStrong knowledge of electronic components market (semiconductors, RF, PCB, etc.). /li liExperience purchasing mechanical components or industrial hardware (chassis, machined parts, enclosures, etc.). /li liProven experience working with international suppliers and negotiating. /li liEnglish level C1 or equivalent (required for international negotiations). /li liAvailability to travel occasionally. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liExcellent communication and negotiation abilities. /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment. /li /ul h3Soft skills /h3 ul liMethodical and organized. /li liExperience working in a dynamic and flexible environment. /li liAutonomy and responsibility. /li liAbility to take on new challenges. /li /ul h3Other requirements /h3 ul liKnowledge of electronics and mechanical materials. /li liKnowledge of supply chain software and management tools. /li liKnowledge of PLM systems. /li /ul h3We offer /h3 ul liCompetitive compensation plan. /li liFull-time, permanent contract. /li li24 vacation days plus 24th and 31st December. /li liFlexitime. /li liFree Friday afternoons and summer afternoons. /li liFlexibility to work some days from home after the initial period. /li liOther benefits paid from the gross salary (ticket restaurant, transport tickets, nursery tickets). /li liPermanent internal and external training. /li liCareer progress opportunities. /li liWork with the latest technologies. /li /ul pWe value both the growth and well-being of people.
