We are seeking a Senior International Tax Accountant to join our team in Tenerife . This role is ideal for a highly capable professional with strong experience in international tax , transfer pricing , and a solid accounting background . The successful candidate will support the company’s cross-border tax matters, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing compliance, and accounting accuracy across multiple jurisdictions. Manage and support international tax compliance and reporting matters across multiple jurisdictions Lead and support transfer pricing analyses, documentation, and intercompany recharges Review accounting records and reconciliations to ensure tax-sensitive transactions are accurately recorded Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close from a tax and accounting perspective Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders on tax matters Support VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other direct and indirect tax matters Identify tax risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities Assist with tax audits, statutory reviews, and internal control processes Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics , or a related field Strong professional experience in accounting and international tax Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger activity, and reconciliations Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills Professional proficiency in English required Spanish strongly preferred Experience in Spain and international tax environments Experience dealing with external auditors and tax advisors Exposure to tax compliance in multiple countries Professional tax or accounting qualification is a plus Exposure to complex cross-border tax and accounting matters A key role with visibility across finance and international operations The Senior International Tax Accountant is responsible for supporting and overseeing key international tax and accounting matters, with a particular focus on transfer pricing , intercompany transactions , cross-border tax compliance , and the proper accounting treatment of tax-relevant items. This role requires a strong accounting foundation together with practical experience in international tax. The position will work closely with finance teams, management, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting, appropriate documentation, regulatory compliance, and strong internal support for international operations. International Tax Support and oversee international tax compliance requirements across relevant jurisdictions Prepare, review, and coordinate tax-related information for corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable filings Assess tax implications of cross-border transactions and support practical implementation Monitor tax deadlines, risks, and documentation requirements Support responses to tax audits, tax authority notices, and statutory requests Ensure transfer pricing arrangements are properly reflected in accounting records Accounting Review and monitor accounting treatment for tax-sensitive transactions Analyze general ledger activity and account reconciliations Prepare and review reconciliations for tax accounts, intercompany balances, accruals, and provisions Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly supported Review intercompany balances and transactions across legal entities Promote consistency in documentation and accounting treatment across jurisdictions Controls and Process Improvement Strengthen tax and accounting controls related to international operations Improve reporting quality, supporting documentation, and internal processes Support alignment between accounting, tax, and operational records Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics , or related field Several years of relevant experience in accounting , international tax , or a similar senior role Strong accounting knowledge and financial reporting understanding Professional qualification in tax or accounting is a plus Strong knowledge of accounting and tax interaction in an international business environment Knowledge of VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax concepts Strong Excel skills and ERP/accounting system experience English: Spanish:
