About the Role Albert Ziegler GmbH is a leading manufacturer of professional firefighting vehicles and equipment. Our International Sales team serves clients across the globe, with a strong and growing presence in Spain and France. To support the expanding volume of tenders and project activity in these markets, we are looking for a Sales Assistant Coordinator to join our team. The Sales Assistant Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Area Manager for Spain and France, providing essential back-office support to allow the Area Manager to focus on client development and strategic commercial activity. Key ResponsibilitiesTender & Proposal Management • Coordinate and prepare all documentation required for public and private tenders in Spain and France., • Track tender timelines and deadlines, ensuring all submissions are complete and on time., • Gather technical and commercial inputs from internal departments (production, purchasing, engineering, legal) and structure them into tender responses., • Maintain an organised archive of tender documents, specifications, and past submissions for reference. Internal Coordination • Act as the primary interface between the Area Manager and internal departments during the pre-sales and project execution phases., • Proactively reach out to purchasing, production, engineering, and other teams to gather the information needed — without waiting to be chased., • Own internal deadlines: track open items, follow up firmly and consistently, and escalate when necessary to keep tender timelines on track., • Ensure the Area Manager is always informed of status without being drawn into administrative back-and-forth. Project Follow-up & Reporting • Monitor the status of ongoing projects and active tenders, flagging delays or issues proactively., • Prepare status reports, summaries, and presentations as required by the Area Manager or management., • Support the preparation of client communications, technical offers, and commercial correspondence. Client & Market Support • Assist in the preparation of customer visits, presentations, and technical meetings when required., • Support translation and localisation of commercial documents for the Spanish and French markets., • Occasionally travel to client sites, exhibitions, or company headquarters as needed. Candidate Profile Category Languages Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). French and/or German are strong assets. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field. Experience 2+ years of experience in project coordination, sales support, or a similar role in a technical or industrial environment. Experience in sectors such as machinery, automotive, defence, civil engineering, or similar is strongly preferred. The candidate must be comfortable working with technical documentation and familiar with the language and dynamics of complex B2B sales cycles. A fast learner with genuine curiosity for technical products will also be considered. Technical Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with ERP or CRM tools is a plus. Soft Skills Highly organised and deadline-driven. Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks without losing sight of priorities. Takes initiative — proactively reaches out to colleagues, follows up without being asked, and applies the right pressure internally to keep projects on track. Comfortable working within tight and non-negotiable deadlines. Strong written communication skills. Autonomous and accountable. Work Arrangement Fully remote. The candidate must be available to travel when required (client visits, trade shows, HQ meetings). All travel expenses are covered by the company.
