4sfera Innova is looking to expand its team with two Consultants: • Environmental Assistant Consultant (Junior) based in Girona, • Air Quality Consultant (3+ years experience) with possibility of remote working If you are passionate about air quality, climate change, and environmental data, we would like to hear from you. About 4sfera Innova 4sfera is a small consultancy specialised in environmental management and assessment. Our team is actively involved in the air quality field for local, regional, and national governments across Europe, as well as European Institutions. We offer air quality expertise on data monitoring, exchange, IT solutions, spatial analysis and data management and interpretation. Founded in 2010, 4sfera provides consultancy services to wide variety of stakeholders including the European Environmental Agency (EEA), DG Environment, European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), European Space Agency (ESA), all European Governments, as well as UK and Andorra. At local and regional level, consultancy studies have been performed for many Regional/local authorities and municipalities. Recently, we are involved in two very exciting H2020 Green Deal Projects. Job summary Environmental Assistant Consultant (Junior) based in Girona You will support a variety of technical projects, including: • Data handling, processing, and analysis, • Desk-based research and interpretation of results, • Supporting report writing and presentations, • Participating in team discussions and project meetings Air Quality Consultant (3+ years experience) with possibility of hibrid working You will take a more active role in project delivery, including: • Managing and contributing to technical projects, • Conducting environmental assessments and data analysis, • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, • Supporting project management and client interaction, • Contributing to regulatory and policy-related work Essential both positions • Degree in environmental science, engineering, physics, chemistry, or a related field (Master’s preferred), • Strong analytical and data handling skills, • Knowledge of R, Python, or other programming languages, • Excellent organisational and communication skills, • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, • Fluency in English Additional requirements for more experienced position: • 3+ years of relevant professional experience, • Experience in environmental consulting or related fields, • Knowledge of environmental regulations and reporting, • Knowledge of air quality and climate change, • Experience with project management and technical reporting, • Fluency in Spanish Desirable competences: • Knowledge of air quality and climate change, • Experience in environmental consultancy or academic research, • Experience with environmental data analysis, modelling, or reporting, • Familiarity with European environmental legislation (e.g. EEA processes), • Fluency in Catalan or other European languages What we offer • Full-time position, • Competitive salary, • Flexible working hours, • Hybrid working model (office-based in Girona with remote flexibility) You will be part of a small but highly respected air quality consultancy team in Europe, contributing to key developments in the field at both European and national levels.
