Arroyomolinos
We are not looking for the best teacher in the room. We are looking for someone who can help us build the academic system that makes every teacher in the room better. Coonerang is a growing education group based in Madrid, with two language centres in Arroyomolinos and an expanding corporate training division. We already have a clear academic vision and a strong base. What we need now is someone who can help turn that into a system that is stronger, more consistent and less dependent on individual people. We are at the stage where academic quality can no longer rely mainly on individual judgment or a few strong teachers. We need a stronger system. This role exists to build it. What this role actually involves • Strengthening and operationalising our pedagogical model, • Designing and improving teacher training and onboarding, • Building and running a real academic quality and audit system, • Reviewing materials with strong pedagogical judgment, • Ensuring students enjoy the process, make visible progress and families trust the academic system, • A defined teaching load of 8–10 hours per week, deliberately kept limited to maintain classroom connection without compromising leadership responsibilities This role is for you if You are an excellent teacherm, but what drives you is making other teachers excellent too. You enjoy building structure, improving systems and turning good ideas into repeatable processes. You have already contributed to something beyond your own classroom, even if on a small scale. You are ambitious, practical and ready for real accountability, not just a title. This role is not for you if You are looking for stability, routine or a comfortable senior position. If you are mainly a strong classroom practitioner with little interest in building systems for others, this is not the right move. What we are looking for • 4–6+ years of active classroom experience with children and teenagers, • Native-level or bilingual English / C2 minimum, • Strong pedagogical judgment, • Clear evidence of having built, improved or systematised something academic beyond your own teaching, • a methodology, a training structure, a quality process, a protocol, • Ability to observe, audit and give demanding but constructive feedback, • Leadership presence and the ability to hold teachers to high standards, • Hunger to grow into a key leadership role inside a scaling education group What success looks like A clearer academic model. Teachers who improve faster and more consistently. Stronger quality control. Better student outcomes. Less dependence on individual talent. A system that can scale. Selection process CV review → interview → academic discussion → practical task → final evaluation. The practical task is mandatory and non-negotiable. It will tell us more than the interview.
