ph3Job Description /h3 pA vacancy for a Space Systems Electrical Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Madrid (Getafe). The successful applicants will join the Electrical Systems Spain Department (TSEOE7). The Electrical Engineer will contribute to developing electrical and electronic systems and sub-systems for satellite platforms and payloads, and for applications including Telecommunications (including Active Antennas), Earth Observation, Science and Navigation. He/she will work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team and will contribute to the on‑cost, on‑time and on‑quality product delivery to customer. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pYour main tasks and responsibilities will include: /p ul liUnder the coordination of the System Electrical Architect, manage all technical aspects related to (at least) one of the following areas: ul liActive antennas data handling sub-systems (DHS) and equipment /li liOn-board data handling sub-systems (DHS) and equipment /li /ul /li liElaborate and maintain technical requirement specifications for on-board sub-systems, equipment or boards (mainly on digital equipment). /li liWhen needed, review supplier's hardware designs (mainly digital electronics) as well as FPGA designs and documentation. /li liSupport SW engineering in the definition of the data bus protocols applicable to units (contribute with respect to HW resources and performance) as well as in the definition of the processor load and memory occupation budgets (contribute with respect to HW resources and performance). /li liWhen needed, design specific electrical circuits (mainly digital) including their respective schematics and analysis (e.g. WCA, PSA) and review PCB design. /li liDefine system verification and validation strategy, prepare system/equipment/board test specifications and maintain the verification control documentation. /li liManage the detailed electrical aspects, such as electrical interfaces, TM/TC interfaces, data links and protocols, harness, power budget, EMC aspects, etc. /li liSupport the Procurement Team in performing the technical follow‑up of subcontracted equipment/board development, and in the assessment of technical risks and RFD/RFW. /li liSupport the AIT Team in the definition and technical follow‑up of the required test systems, in the preparation of system integration and test activities, and in the review of test reports. /li liSupport the Quality Team in the investigation of anomalies and non‑conformances, providing technical support in NRBs. /li liElaborate technical documentation, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to technical proposals. /li liSupport the project technical reviews, and conduct and lead the technical reviews to equipment/board suppliers. /li liWork in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines (e.g., thermal, mechanical, harness) involved in system development throughout the whole lifecycle. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducated to degree level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. /li liProven experience (= 5 years) required in: ul liSpace projects /li liSpace digital electronics detailed design and test /li liRequirements management /li liSubcontractor technical management /li /ul /li liEnglish advanced level. /li liSpanish advanced level. /li liESA standards experience (ECSSs...). /li liWill be appreciated: ul liExperience in space microprocessor/SoCs computers HW design. /li liExperience in space FPGA design (specification, architecture, VHDL coding, simulation, PR). /li liExperience in requirements management with DOORS. /li liExperience in electrical analysis with LT/PSPICE and/or MATLAB. /li liExperience in electrical design with ALTIUM. /li liExperience programming with PYTHON. /li liPower electronics design and EMC engineering. /li /ul /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liVacation days plus additional days-off throughout the year. /li liAttractive salary. /li liHybrid model of working when possible, promoting the work-life balance. /li liCollective transport service in some sites. /li liBenefits such as health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, or study grants. /li liOn-site facilities (among others): free canteen, kindergarten, medical office. /li liPossibility to collaborate in different social and corporate social responsibility initiatives. /li liExcellent upskilling opportunities and great development prospects in a multicultural environment. /li liSpecial rates in products benefits. /li /ul pThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. /p pCompany: Airbus Defence and Space SAU /p pEmployment Type: Permanent /p pExperience Level: Professional /p pJob Family: Elec.Electron.
