POSITION OVERVIEW The Peer Learning Senior Associate will work closely with and report to the Director of Peer Learning, supporting the design, development, and delivery of global peer learning initiatives that strengthen the capacity of financial sector stakeholders to better understand, serve, and advance Women's Markets programs. The role manages a portfolio of learning programs that engage both public and private sector financial institutions across more than 160 countries. The position combines project management, developing practical learning experiences, and stakeholder engagement to create impactful learning opportunities for Alliance members and non-members. The role oversees the end-to-end delivery of learning programs (digital and in-person). This includes designing and managing online courses and learning journeys using Learning Management Systems (LMS), as well as planning and executing workshops, peer exchanges, conferences, and other in-person events. Working closely with internal subject matter experts, banking practitioners and development finance partners, the Senior Associate will ensure that learning content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices. The successful candidate will bring strong project management capabilities, experience in adult learning and capacity building, and a passion for advancing women's economic empowerment through the financial sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In-Person Learning Events · Plan and Execute global peer learning events, workshops, study visits, roundtables, and conferences managing all aspects of event delivery: agenda development, speaker coordination, participant engagement, logistics, and post-event evaluation in close cooperation with the Director of Peer Learning · Engage public and private sector financial institution stakeholders with high professionalism and corporate standards · Collaborate with subject matter experts, partners, and stakeholders to design impactful learning experiences that advance women's financial inclusion. · Develop end-of-program reports and evaluation surveys to monitor and evaluate event outcomes and ensure learning objectives and participant needs are met in close cooperation with the Director of Peer Learning. Online Learning Programs · Manage online learning programs, courses, and learning journeys for financial sector professionals, including webinars, virtual workshops, self-paced courses, and other online learning activities, in close cooperation with the Director of Peer Learning. · Create engaging digital learning content, tools, and resources that support institutions in developing and implementing Women's Markets Programs. · Manage the administration and optimization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning tools. · Track learner engagement, analyze performance metrics, and continuously improve the effectiveness of digital learning offerings. · Ensure learning content remains relevant, accessible, and aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends in financial inclusion. Program Management and Stakeholder Engagement · Oversee the end-to-end management of peer learning programs, in close cooperation with the Director of Peer Learning, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and alignment with organizational objectives. · Engage Alliance members and stakeholders from over 160 countries, fostering a global community of practice. · Coordinate cross-functional teams, consultants, external partners, and suppliers (interpreters, video editors, website companies, graphic designers) to deliver high-quality learning initiatives. Learning Hub Management · Lead the management, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the Alliance's Learning Hub as a premier capacity-building platform for members. · Organize and curate learning resources, ensuring a high-quality user experience aligned with member needs. · Convert live events (workshops, webinars, conference sessions, etc.) into engaging, self-paced online learning courses and digital knowledge products. · Redesign existing training materials using instructional design best practices to maximize learner engagement, retention, and practical application. · Monitor Learning Hub analytics, learner engagement, and course performance to drive continuous improvement and expand the platform's impact. ABOUT THE PEER LEARNING PROGRAMS Support in the organization of the Alliance’s peer learning events, including but not limited to: · The All Stars Academy (4.5-day - In person): Takes place once a year in person. A weeklong course designed to help financial services professionals – from Alliance member institutions – develop the critical tools they need to serve women effectively using a holistic value proposition on a commercially viable basis. · The Annual Summit (2-day - In person): The Annual Summit is the Alliance’s flagship event and one of the world’s premier knowledge exchanges that focuses on how institutions can champion the Female Economy. · The Gender Data Learning Series (5-Week - Online): The Gender Data Learning Series is an in-depth course that equips financial service providers with the skills to develop or enhance their women-centered strategies using sex-disaggregated data. · The Primer on the Strategic and Business Case for Serving Women Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (WMSMEs) (4-Week - Online): This series equips FSPs with insights to effectively serve women entrepreneurs as a distinct market segment and foster an organizational culture that supports these initiatives. You can check the Alliance website to learn more about the Peer Learning Offering QUALIFICATIONS Education: o Undergraduate/graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. o CAPM or PMP certification is a plus Work Experience: o Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in financial services, management consulting, or a similar corporate environment. o Demonstrated experience in project management, learning and development (capacity building, adult education, etc.), and event organization and management (webinars, conferences, workshops, and other peer exchanges). o Experience working in international, multicultural environments with stakeholders across diverse geographies. Knowledge and Skills: o Excellent project management, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop learning materials. o Digital proficiency across standard tools (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, etc.). o Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and online learning methodologies is a plus. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. o Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, and LearnUpon is a plus.
