PURPOSE OF THE MISSION We’re currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Steward team, supporting us in building and managing the Geopost common referential. This role is a key contributor to the foundations of Geopost’s data strategy, working every day with Data Stewards, IT teams, and business stakeholders in an international, dynamic, and supportive environment. As a Data Analyst within the Data Steward Team, you will play a central role in strengthening the quality, consistency, and automation of Geopost’s reference data, with the opportunity to engage on high impact strategic topics across the organization. You will analyse, reconcile, and automate reference data processes to help build solid, scalable, and governed reference datasets. This position is also designed as a progression path toward a Data Steward position. Objective / activities and expected deliverables You will assist and guide the data steward team and its stakeholders in implementing data in our MDM solutions or application sources. To achieve this goal, you will work closely with Geopost's business teams and business units, as well as with the IT product teams within the company. You will provide a deep understanding of the referential and transactional data, that will explain the gaps we have between them and to guide the stakeholders to improve the data. As part of our six-person team, you will also receive support from our MDM office team, who will help you understand business processes and data models and improve our referential and in-house MDM solutions. Working in hybrid environment with up to 2 days a week in home office. The main activities/deliverables are as follows • Conduct detailed analyses of reference datasets to identify inconsistencies, gaps, anomalies, or structural issues., • Share your findings and analysis results with our stakeholder and with our contacts in the BU, support them to build action plan to fix the anomaly detected, • Cross-check and reconcile reference data originating from various internal systems (databases, Excel files, APIs, flat files)., • Compare referential data with transactional datasets to ensure accuracy and coherence., • Build automated scripts and workflows for profiling, matching, validation, and anomaly detection., • Develop and maintain automated pipelines to extract, transform, and generate reference data from multiple sources., • Ensure automated reference data aligns with governance rules and validation checks., • Support the creation or enhancement of the data objects, attributes, and mappings., • Contribute to governance routines, • Provide analytical inputs to refine data governance rules and validation checks., • Assist in preparation and validation of datasets for migration, integration testing, • Take care of data cleansing tasks to cleanse Domain data and load it to various systems for testing/validation and go live., • Support integration, system, and user acceptance testing, manage migration and cut over strategy, data loads, • Support the Data Stewards structuring the data based on Data Models and Data Objects in UML, • Help document Data Models, business rules, data factsheets, and data catalog entries. PROFILE & SKILLS Main Skills: • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields., • Python (mandatory) for automation and analysis; R is a plus., • Strong command of SQL., • Experience with data processing or ETL concepts., • Understanding of master data management and data lifecycle concepts (profiling, quality, lineage)., • Familiarity with data modelling concepts (entities, attributes, hierarchies) and UML., • Experience supporting data migration, testing, and validation activities is appreciated., • Rigorous, structured, detail-oriented, strong communication skills., • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams and to make Data analysis presentations, • Professional English required; French is a plus., • Experience in transport and parcel delivery industry or curious quick learner, • Ability to work autonomous, • Experience in working in agile environment is a plus WHY JOIN US?
