The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall hygiene of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in the hotel. They play a crucial role in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. • Room Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to established standards and procedures.Make beds, change linens, and replace amenities.Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized.Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens. • Public Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain the cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as necessary. Empty trash bins and ensure waste disposal is done according to hotel policies. • Back-of-House Organization: Keep storage areas, linen rooms, and housekeeping carts organized and well-stocked.Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Attention to Detail:Pay attention to detail to ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Guest Interaction:Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and requests in a timely manner. Compliance with Safety and Hygiene Standards:Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.Properly handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and materials.
