Develop and innovate new dessert recipes while maintaining the authenticity of Caribbean flavours. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all baked goods. Manage stock levels and place orders for ingredients as needed. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen, following all food safety regulations. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation for service. Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to create seasonal or special occasion dessert menus. Requirements: Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role, preferably in a Caribbean or multicultural restaurant. Strong knowledge of traditional Caribbean desserts and baking techniques. Creativity and passion for experimenting with flavours and presentation. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Food Safety and Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain). We need an experienced and organised lunchtime chef. We make food in house: top-quality sausage rolls, quiches, pasties, Bulgarian banitsa, paninis, light meals,fresh soups, full breakfasts and superb sandwiches. We are competing against Gail's and other big players but we know we are better and if you have ideas, we can look to bring them in. We need lunchtime cover, especially Thursday to Sunday. We are looking for a chef with experience in Mediterranean cuisine. We are a local restaurant in West Dulwich and looking for someone to join our friendly team.

We are looking for a chef (£12.50 per hour), preferably pizza chef(£14/£15 per hour), in our restaurant in Beckenham. You need to have experience with Mediterranean food and if you have experience with fresh dough is a plus. We guarantee a competitive wage between 40 and 50 hours weekly and offer free meal and drink when on duty. The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 22, Friday and Saturday from 12 to 23 and Sunday 12 to21 and you require to work during these hours even bank holidays.
