Summary
Your role as an HVAC 3D Detailer and Project manager is vital in ensuring the set up of commercial kitchen extraction systems, ventilation, within our manufacturing facilities. Based in the UK, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation in metal fabrication.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include: Working from our office in Leyton, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm - Site survey visits using provided company car, meeting with clients for consultation stage, and helping to build quotation breakdowns and planning out project stages, as well as full fabrication technical drawing packages for extraction systems and fabrication items. - Company car (BMW) provided, work phone provided, computer with software provided.
. Diagnosing system issues and implementing effective solutions. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Assisting in the design and modification of HVAC systems to improve functionality. Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety regulations and building compliances.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC detailer and fabrication detailer.
  • Project management and Sales knowledge/ experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and system design.
  • Collaborating with construction sites.
  • UK driving license.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Preparing HVAC drawing packages and schematics for planning application approval.
  • Experience working within the manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous.
  • Commercial kitchen design experience preferred.

This senior role sits within the pre-construction function and is responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders, cost plans and value engineering proposals across a varied portfolio of public sector new build and refurbishment projects. The Role As the Estimating Manager you will manage the full tender process, ensuring quality, compliance and consistency across all submissions. The position requires strong team leadership, client engagement, and the ability to secure profitable work in line with business objectives. You will be reporting in to the Business Manager or, where required, a company director. Estimating Manager Key Responsibilities: Tender Management • Review tender documents and identify commercial, technical and contractual risks., • Prepare detailed take offs and Bills of Quantities for traditional and Design & Build projects., • Develop, check and refine pricing, rate build ups and preliminaries., • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier enquiries., • Analyse quotations and select preferred partners., • Carry out site visits and incorporate findings into tender pricing., • Collaborate with Operations on construction methods and programme durations., • Ensure all tenders are accurate, competitive and properly peer checked.
