Wolfox Savoy is seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Junior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while maintaining smooth daily operations. Key Responsibility:
  1. Culinary Excellence
    • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in planning, preparing, and executing menus that align with Wolfox Savoy’s high standards.
    • Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.
    • Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  2. Kitchen Operations
    • Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef or Sous Chef, ensuring smooth workflow and team coordination.
    • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
    • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Team Leadership
    • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading, training, and mentoring the kitchen team.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback to team members.

4.Cost Control & Efficiency
• Monitor food costs and minimize waste while maintaining quality.
• Ensure efficient use of kitchen resources and equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a high-end kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and passion for delivering innovative and memorable dining experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
