We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our bar within a busy UK restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities: • Operational Management: Oversee the smooth running of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to health & safety, licensing, and hygiene regulations., • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage bar staff, fostering a positive, professional, and motivated team environment., • Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of service, dealing effectively with guest queries, complaints, and special requests., • Stock & Inventory Control: Manage ordering, deliveries, and stock rotation, keeping accurate records to minimise waste and control costs., • Menu Development: Work with management to create seasonal drink menus, signature cocktails, and upselling opportunities., • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control labour costs, and achieve revenue targets by driving bar sales and optimising profitability., • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK licensing laws, Challenge 25 policy, and company standards., • Collaboration: Work closely with the restaurant management team to coordinate events, promotions, and service flow. Skills & Experience Required: • Previous experience as a Bar Manager / Assistant Bar Manager / Senior Bartender in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or hotel in the UK., • Strong leadership and people-management skills., • In-depth knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits., • Proven ability to manage budgets, stock control, and financial reporting., • Strong customer service and communication skills., • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment., • Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
