Working closely with the Chief Engineer and wider hotel operations team, you will carry out routine repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and support preventative maintenance programmes to minimise disruption and ensure a safe, comfortable, and operational environment for guests and colleagues. THE STAGE IS SET The stage is set for something different. We don’t run conventional hotels; we build places with character and intent. What began as a small UK aparthotel portfolio has grown into a European collection recognised for design and atmosphere - and we’re now entering a new chapter. As we redefine the brand and evolve our identity, we’re focused on creating spaces that feel compelling, contemporary, and truly distinctive. Locke leads with bold expression; Cove by Locke refines that same spirit into a quieter, more streamlined approach. Guests come to rest, work, or escape. Comfort is a given - great beds, hot showers, genuine service. But we aim to create moments that feel memorable and a little unexpected, bringing back the sense of mood hospitality often lost. This is our backdrop. We’re on an exciting journey, step on stage and play your part. THE WORK IN YOUR HANDS Carry out routine maintenance and repair work across guest rooms, public areas, back of-house facilities, and hotel equipment to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard. Perform general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and minor building repairs, escalating specialist issues where required. Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify faults in building systems, equipment, and facilities, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Respond to maintenance requests from guests and hotel teams in a timely manner, minimising disruption to operations and guest experience Support the Chief Engineer with emergency repairs, fault finding, and preventative maintenance activities. Monitor and report defects, hazards, or maintenance concerns across the property, ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken. Assist with refurbishment projects, room setups, furniture repairs, and general property improvements as required. Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, fire regulations, and safe working practices at all times. Maintain maintenance records, logs, tools, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and operational readiness. Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and external suppliers to support the effective operation of the hotel. Naturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties. Other duties as may be reasonably required will form part of this job description. THE FIRE YOU CARRY Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences Positive, energetic, and adaptable personality Strong communication skills and confidence in guest interaction Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure Willingness to learn across multiple operational areas YOUR PROVEN TRACK Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role Understanding of health & safety procedures in a workplace setting Experience in a hotel, resort, or large property Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems WHAT WE LOOK FOR We’re here to rethink what a modern lifestyle hotel can be. That takes pace, creativity, and people who enjoy working with purpose. If you’re comfortable with change, motivated by ideas, and focused on crafting meaningful guest experiences, you’ll do well here. We value individuals who can hold a vision, appreciate atmosphere, and want their work to have impact. Skills can be taught. Mindset can’t. There’s no single template for success here - just the right approach and willingness to grow.

Lands Partners is a London property company — we buy, refurbish and manage residential property across the city. Our construction team is growing, and we're looking for a Site Manager to be our eyes and ears on the ground. This is a role for someone who notices things. You'll be out on the road most days, moving between our sites across London — checking progress, photographing work, writing up what you find and dealing with the builders face to face. If something is going wrong, we want to hear it from you before it becomes a problem. Office Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–5:30pm. Friday, 9:30am–2:00pm. While the Office Hours are set, due to the nature of this position you might be required to have flexible start or end times. Office: Anna House, 214–218 High Road, South Tottenham, N15 4NP — though you'll spend most of your time out on site, not at a desk. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Visiting our sites across London to inspect ongoing construction and refurbishment work, • Photographing and documenting progress and issues on our company app (full training given), • Writing up site reports after each visit, • Speaking to builders and contractors on site — checking work is being done properly, and chasing what isn't, • Talking to neighbours and dealing with anything that comes up around our properties, • Spotting problems early and following them through until they're fixed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR This matters to us more than a CV: • You spot things. You walk onto a site and notice what isn't right., • You take action on your own. Nobody will be standing over you. You're out on the road alone most of the day, and we need to know things get done., • You're reliable. If you say you'll be somewhere, you're there., • You can talk to anyone. Builders, neighbours, tenants, council offices, building control inspectors — and stay calm and professional when the conversation is a difficult one., • You're comfortable using a smartphone app for photos and reports. It's simple, but it's a daily part of the job. ESSENTIAL • Full UK driving licence, • Right to work in the UK, • Flexibility — the nature of the work means hours can move around, and we need someone who can work with that, • Experience in construction, property or maintenance is a real advantage, but attitude matters more. If you've got the right eye and the right work ethic, we'll train you on the rest. WHAT WE OFFER • Company car provided, • Permanent employed position (PAYE) — not self-employed, • Early finish every Friday at 2pm, • A varied job — you're not sat at a desk, and no two days look the same, • A growing company where the problems you flag actually get acted on
