Opening hours: from 10.00am to 2.00am from Monday to Sunday What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists: - Ensuring that the kitchen is set up and ready for each service with the right amount of prepared Pasta Sauces and other ingredients that ensure the right amount for quick service but does not negatively impact food costs i.e. wastage. To Ensure that all deliveries are Received & stored appropriately and storage requirements are adhered to. - Full Operating the wash-up area effectively and ensuring any equipment used is thoroughly cleaned. - Full Use correct signage whilst cleaning is taking place. - Full Ensure that all rubbish is disposed of correctly at all times, following the company waste management processes in relation to recycling and adhering to Local Authority requirements. - Reporting of any equipment defects quickly to Team leader or Area Manager. - Full Ensure that all close down kitchen procedures are followed and that the kitchen is always clean and prepared as possible for the next shift. - Full Regularly organise pest checks and report any concerns to the Team leader and higher management. We are a very small family run Italian restaurant based near to Liverpool Street Station. We are looking for a full time Italian chef, working in a very small team of just two chefs. Together you will be responsible for everything in the kitchen from food preparation, deliveries, orders, hygiene, cooking all dishes in service, cleaning of kitchen including pots and pans and deep cleaning of the kitchen once a week. We are open for lunch and dinner service Monday to Fridays only. You will be required to work Mondays to Fridays from 10.30am to about 3/3.30pm and then again from 6pm until about 10/10.30pm. You will have weekends off and Bank Holidays as well as 2 weeks holiday over Christmas and New Year as well as 2 weeks in August when the restaurant is closed. We are looking for someone who is experienced and can work in an open kitchen with customers sitting around the counter watching you work. You need to therefore be clean, hygienic and work in a professional manner. You need to also be able to work calmly under pressure as well as work with quick based energy and enthusiasm. You will need to be a quick learner and we will teach you all our menu dishes (which change frequently) and how we work.
