Location: Primarily home-based, with visits required to our office based in Crowborough
Start Date: November 2025 (handover period)
Contract: Fixed Term, 12 months (possible role may become permanent).
Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Manager to cover maternity leave. The role is mainly home-based and includes full handover training.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls and emails, acting as the first point of contact
- Organising engineers’ diaries and scheduling jobs
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Ordering materials and tracking deliveries
- Preparing and sending invoices, monitoring payments, and chasing debtors
- Maintaining records and compliance documentation
- Providing general administrative support to directors and the team
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – laptop provided
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Previous office/administration experience preferred (knowledge of the construction/trades sector beneficial)
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail
