We are looking for strong Pastry Junior Sous Chefs to join Alan’s team at The Twenty-Two. The focus is strengthening our Ground Floor Kitchen, which is open for two services (lunch and dinner) 7 days a week. Our handsome neighbourhood restaurant brings a Mediterranean flourish to modern British fare. Our menu is committed to minimal intervention and offers an uncompromising, lighter style. Paid overtime for hours worked above the contract hours.

  • Be friendly, approachable and professional
  • The ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Driven to succeed with a stable background in the industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Has a good understanding of all areas within a Kitchen
  • Is willing to learn and progress within the team
  • Is an excellent team player with a positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
  • Is passionate about food and keen to develop their knowledge on the menu
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Be able to take control and work all sections in the kitchen comfortably while maintaining the food standard.
  • Ensuring that food quality and portion control are always in line with the company's specifications.
  • Fully understand all health and safety requirements in the kitchen.
  • An ability to work well under pressure.
