As part of our latest exciting campaign, we are organising a social media talent show that aims to increase our online presence while supporting various humanitarian causes. To ensure the success of this project, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Assistant Manager to join our team on a temporary contract basis. This is a no-experience-needed role, as full training and guidance will be provided. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for social media and project management.
Job Overview:
As a Project Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of our social media talent show campaign. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will help oversee the smooth execution of campaign tasks, manage social media initiatives, and ensure that the campaign aligns with both our marketing goals and humanitarian values. You will have the opportunity to be hands-on in boosting our social media presence and contributing to a meaningful project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing and overseeing the social media talent show campaign.
• Support the project manager in organising tasks and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Help with boosting social media presence across various platforms.
• Coordinate campaign-related activities, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
• Assist in creating and scheduling social media content, in line with campaign messaging.
• Help monitor and analyse social media engagement, suggesting strategies for greater visibility and interaction.
• Ensure the campaign supports our humanitarian causes and communicates our core values.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and talent throughout the project.
• Track progress and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas for enhancing the campaign.
Requirements:
• No prior project management or marketing experience required – full training will be provided.
• Strong interest in social media, campaigns, and humanitarian work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, eager to take initiative.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to a laptop and a reliable internet connection for remote work.
• Passion for social media marketing and supporting meaningful causes.
Contract Details:
• Temporary contract for 30 days, with the possibility of extension.
• Competitive hourly pay rate of £17.44 per hour.
• Minimum of 25 hours per week required, with the possibility of additional hours depending on project needs.
