ABOUT THE ROLE As Junior F&B Manager, you’ll support the daily operations of Uba at Hart Shoreditch’s restaurant, bar, lobby, and in-room dining. You’ll act as the link between the floor and the management team, ensuring smooth service delivery, consistent guest experience, and efficient team coordination and operation. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, ideal for someone ready to take the next step into leadership within a dynamic, lifestyle-led environment. You’ll lead by example on the floor, helping to coach the team, oversee shifts, and maintain high standards of presentation, service, and atmosphere across all dayparts. WHAT YOU’LL DO Guest Experience & Flow • Support the F&B Venue Manager in overseeing the day-to-day service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bar operations, • Maintain guest readiness and brand presentation across all areas, including restaurant, bar, and events, • Respond to guest feedback with professionalism, empathy, and confidence, • Coordinate in the setup and hosting of in-house events, activations, and private hires Team Leadership • Lead service during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication, • Motivate and guide the front-of-house team, supporting a culture of flexibility and accountability, • Participate in daily briefings and ongoing floor coaching, • Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and training new team members Operational & Financial • Support stock control, daily checks, and accurate waste and breakage recording, • Help track cost of sales and labour performance in line with targets, • Ensure health & safety, hygiene, and licensing standards are consistently met, • Liaise with kitchen, maintenance, and front office teams to keep operations seamless Brand, Product & Events • Ensure menu presentation, service style, and overall ambience reflect the Uba at Hart Shoreditch brand, • Support the delivery of brand activations and partner events, • Assist in collecting guest feedback and communicating insights to the management team, • Contribute ideas to enhance F&B programming and guest engagement ABOUT YOU • 1–2 years of supervisory experience in F&B or lifestyle hospitality, • Confident and positive floor presence with a guest-first mindset, • Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented, • A passion for London hospitality & lifestyle scene, • Interested in contemporary dining, cocktails, and lifestyle hospitality trends, • Keen to grow into a senior F&B management role within a creative, collaborative environment

Family run busy bar & restaurant looking for a full time assistant manager to join the team. We are currently looking for someone who has at least 3 years experience in management to start immediately.
