Main Responsibilities • Opening and closing the store securely, • Welcoming customers and understanding their fragrance preferences, • Recommending suitable perfumes and confidently closing sales, • Managing perfume testing and ensuring testers are used responsibly, • Operating the till, card terminal and receipt system, • Accurately processing cash and card transactions, • Completing opening and closing cash checks, • Monitoring stock levels and reporting low-stock products, • Receiving, checking and organising deliveries, • Keeping shelves, testers and displays clean and well presented, • Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the store, • Handling customer questions, complaints and returns professionally, • Following store policies, security procedures and loss-prevention measures, • Preparing and serving the store’s iced coffee and matcha drinks when required, • Providing the owner with clear updates on sales, stock and any issues during the day The ideal candidate will be: • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy, • Confident working independently, • Friendly and approachable without being overly pushy, • Comfortable setting polite boundaries with customers, • Organised and attentive to detail, • Confident handling cash, stock and store keys, • Able to communicate clearly and recommend products, • Genuinely interested in fragrance, beauty or luxury retail, • Comfortable learning about Arabian perfume brands and scent profiles Previous retail, fragrance, beauty or supervisory experience is preferred.
