Sales Administrator Join our vibrant team of 4 office staff at this busy event catering company. We are small but bespoke with some very prestigious clients and venues looking for the right candidate with a passion for food. Some experience in hospitality would be great but is not essential. We are looking for an individual with outstanding organisation and communication to become our new sales administrator. The role includes the management of incomingenquiries, preparing quotations and guiding our clients through the booking process. The sales administration position requires a confident telephone manner, experience in customer service and excellent computer skills. Your duties will include: • Provide general assistance to the sales team • Process client information on our dedicated booking system (training provided) • Input data into spreadsheets • Carrying out general clerical duties • Answer client queries over the phone in a professional and engaging manner • Outstanding written and verbal communication • Familiar with managing word documents and spreadsheets. Operational Support: - Assist the Manager in the daily running of the kitchen by assigning tasks to staff and ensuring deep cleaning and general cleanliness. - Take charge of the kitchen on the Manager’s days off, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer service, and high food quality. - Taste prep as it is done to maintain high standards. - Send End-of-Day (EOD) reports, check all prep needed, and write a thorough list for the next day. - Communicate with KERB managers on the Manager’s days off regarding any problems or queries. Further Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Manager to review weekly reports and identify areas for improvement in sales and stock management. - Contribute to recipe changes and menu development ideas. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a fast-paced kitchen environment. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks. - Proficiency with stock management systems, preferably Market Man. Our Kitchen Assistants/Team Members are responsible for preparing our food offering to the highest quality and standards. Their role is crucial in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation in the kitchen. Opening hours: from 10.00am to 2.00am from Monday to Sunday What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists: - Ensuring that the kitchen is set up and ready for each service with the right amount of prepared Pasta Sauces and other ingredients that ensure the right amount for quick service but does not negatively impact food costs i.e. wastage. Including preparing par levels in the pre-prepared cold delivery fridge. - Wear a full smart clean uniform to the brand standard at all times whilst on shift and protective clothing as required. - Ensure the full Pasta Evangelists Standard is adhered to, thereby ensuring our Pasta and other Products are kept to the highest possible standard for Best product quality to our customer. - To ensure that the kitchen is exceptionally clean and complies with all Health and Safety / Quality and Safety regulations. - To keep an eye on the Availability and Inform the Team leaders and wider team in advance. - Document and keep a record of information on food as appropriate to the company policy and effective date labelling and make sure stock rotation principles (FIFO) are fully adhered to. - Ensure that all par levels are maintained. - Ensure any food wastage is recorded accurately. - Utilise the SOP to maximise the quality and speed of food readiness. - For all equipment i.e. Fridges, Pasta Boiler, Ovens, Microwaves etc ensure that the right temperature records are kept and the correct procedures are followed for safe food handling. - Ensure all equipment is maintained to the SOP standard. To Ensure that all deliveries are Received & stored appropriately and storage requirements are adhered to. - Full Operating the wash-up area effectively and ensuring any equipment used is thoroughly cleaned. - Full Use correct signage whilst cleaning is taking place. - Full Ensure that all rubbish is disposed of correctly at all times, following the company waste management processes in relation to recycling and adhering to Local Authority requirements. - Reporting of any equipment defects quickly to Team leader or Area Manager. - Full Ensure that all close down kitchen procedures are followed and that the kitchen is always clean and prepared as possible for the next shift. - Full Regularly organise pest checks and report any concerns to the Team leader and higher management.
