We are looking for an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, with a strong focus on event catering and bespoke menu creation. Based in Farringdon, we operate a Monday–Friday daytime café, alongside a busy programme of evening and weekend events, including weddings, corporate dinners, concerts and private parties. This role combines kitchen leadership and cost control with a highly creative events offering and a top-notch clientele. The café operation requires oversight and occasional hands-on day-to-day cooking, allowing the Head Chef to focus their culinary energy on delivering outstanding food for events and evening shifts.

🍕 Pizza Chef – British Patagonia. Nights Location: British Patagonia Bakery, Upper Street, Islington Concept: Evening pizza, wine & cocktails (BP Nights) 💰 Salary • £32,000 per year + TRONC, • Salaried role (no overtime — hours built into the contract), • 🗓 Working Pattern, • 4 days on / 3 days off. 45hrs contract, • Mainly Thursday to Sunday, • Typical shifts:, • Thu–Fri: ~13:00 pm – midnight, • Sat: ~12:00 pm – 11:00 pm, • Sun: ~12:00 pm – 11:00 pm (including Sunday service), • 👨‍🍳 Role & Responsibilities, • Preparing and cooking pizzas during BP Nights service, • Dough handling, stretching, topping, baking, and plating, • Managing pizza section independently during service, • Keeping the pizza station clean, organised, and food-safe, • Supporting prep when service is quiet (for nights or next day bakery use), • Working closely with baristas, FOH, and bar staff in a small team, • Maintaining consistent quality, pace, and presentation
