Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing the daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in barbecue (grilling) and stir-fried dishes, with the ability to work efficiently as part of a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality north-western Chinese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.
  • Support the development and planning of menus, ensuring consistency and high-quality dishes.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to.
  • Independently prepare and cook dishes, particularly barbecue and stir-fried dishes, in line with our north-western Chinese specialities.


    Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, particularly in Chinese cuisine or north-western Chinese restaurants.
  • Strong skills in barbecue and stir-frying.
  • A team player with a collaborative spirit, able to work efficiently under the Head Chef’s leadership.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
