Job Summary: The role of the Commis Chef at Secret Smokehouse is to work directly in the production team, including supporting chef tasks, always maintaining high hygiene standards in the creation of ready to eat products. The role requires the employee to work well as a team, sometime under pressure and be able to deal with the artisan quantities of smoked fish that Secret Smokehouse produces here in East London. The Commis Chef is a really key role within the smokehouse and so the employee will need to have a fantastic work ethic but also someone who wants to be part of a fun and exciting team and arguably the best smokehouse in the UK supplying the top tier chefs and restaurants.
