Supporting children and young people with a range of communication and developmental needs, you’ll combine direct therapy with assessment, consultation and practical strategies that make a difference beyond the therapy session. In this role, you’ll: · Assess children and young people with SEND, autism, developmental language needs, social communication differences, SEMH needs and more complex profiles. · Plan and deliver evidence-based, individualised interventions, including direct therapy, advice and consultation. · Contribute to EHCP assessments, reports and outcome reviews. · Work closely with teachers, parents, carers, SENCOs and multidisciplinary colleagues to embed communication support throughout the school day. · Review progress, adapt intervention plans and contribute to joined-up support for children with more complex needs. It’s a varied role where you’ll balance assessment, therapy, consultation and collaboration, with the chance to make a visible difference to children, families and school teams every day.
