Key Responsibilities and Duties Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcoming guests warmly upon arrival, managing the, and walking them to their tables. Floor Control: Managing the dining room flow, balancing the workload among servers, and ensuring efficient turnover of tables. Customer Service: Acting as the initial contact for customer feedback, questions, or special requests, such as high chairs. Side Work: Maintaining the cleanliness of the entrance area, organizing menus, and sometimes assisting with tasks like rolling silverware.
