The Role As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing credit control across a diverse portfolio of accounts including national supermarkets, wholesale traders and export customers. You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial controls while maintaining excellent relationships with both internal teams and external customers. Key Responsibilities • Manage credit control for a range of customer accounts including national supermarkets, wholesale traders and export clients using a variety of collection and risk management techniques., • Conduct credit reviews and ongoing risk management of customer accounts., • Handle discrepancy management and resolve customer queries efficiently., • Manage order suspension and release in line with credit policies., • Liaise with multiple UK sites to provide dedicated credit control support., • Prepare for and attend regular debt and risk review meetings., • Ensure all requests received through the credit control inbox are actioned promptly., • Produce weekly and bi-weekly reporting on credit control performance and account status. About You • Excellent communication skills with a strong team ethic., • Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively., • Experience working within a customer-focused environment., • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail., • Experience driving continuous improvements and supporting change initiatives., • Experience working with multiple ERP systems (Navision and SAP preferred)., • Advanced Excel skills., • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels., • Strong internal and external customer focus.
