Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | FM Service Provider | Commercial Building Teddington, South West London | Up to £45,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider based in Teddington, South West London. We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a static, site-based role within a large and prestigious commercial building. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, holding a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 qualification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. You will be responsible for carrying out mechanically-biased M&E and fabric planned and reactive maintenance as part of a close-knit team of three engineers, working alongside an on-site supervisor. You will be responsible for all landlord services across the building and will be required to demonstrate hands-on knowledge and experience of the following: Duties HVAC plant and plant room maintenance Air conditioning air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes and cleaning) Chillers monitoring and resets Pumps, motors and cooling tower maintenance Water treatment temperature checks (non-dosing) Lighting small installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels and power distribution Emergency lighting testing and certification Fire alarm testing UPS systems monitoring and taking readings Pressurisation units BMS monitoring hot and cold systems Plumbing unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals, etc. General building fabric maintenance Escorting and overseeing sub-contractors Hours of Work Monday to Friday, 08:0017:00 (40-hour week) One week in 7, working a 10:0019:00 shift On-call: 1 in 4 rota Package Basic salary up to £45,000 per annum On-call allowance of an additional £5,000 per annum (1 in 4 rota) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Birthday off as an additional holiday Company pension scheme Excellent benefits package Internal and external training courses Genuine career progression opportunities Substantial overtime available Requirements Mechanically / plumbing qualified C&G / NVQ Level 2 (minimum) Copies of all trade certificates will be required upon application Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, honest and hardworking To apply, please send your CV to Dan Barber at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information.
