About us Euforyc Sips is the café inside Euforyc Studios, a women’s wellness and Pilates space in Colindale. Our menu has drinks you won’t find anywhere else in the area: ceremonial-style matcha lattes, seasonal specials, flavoured lattes with cold foam, protein shakes, smoothies and fresh croffles. Our café is busy, and our customers know their drinks. The role This is a barista role first. Around 75% of your shift will be making drinks: hot and iced matcha, espresso-based coffees, flavoured lattes, cold foam, shakes and smoothies. You’ll make every drink to our recipes, consistently and quickly, including during busy periods. You’ll also be front of house, so you’ll be the first person clients meet when they walk in. Some will come in to ask about Pilates rather than buy a drink. If you can confidently talk them through our classes and memberships, you’ll earn commission on every membership you sell, on top of your hourly pay. What you’ll do • Prepare all drinks on our menu to our recipes and standards, hot and iced, • Run the espresso machine, steam and texture milk, and batch-prepare matcha, • Serve food items such as croffles and bites, • Take payments and serve customers quickly and accurately, • Welcome and check in studio clients, • Answer questions about classes and memberships, and sell memberships and packages, • Keep the café, reception and studio clean and tidy, including general cleaning such as hoovering and mopping, • Set up the studio and equipment before classes, • Help with stock checks and deliveries, • Complete opening and closing procedures, • Look after the café and reception on your own during your shift What we’re looking for • At least 6 months of barista experience in a café or coffee shop (essential), • Confident using an espresso machine and steaming milk; latte art is a plus, • Able to stay calm, quick and accurate when orders pile up, • Matcha experience, • Friendly and confident with customers, • Sales experience in fitness, wellness, beauty or retail is a bonus, • Reliable and on time, and comfortable working independently, • Well presented and takes pride in a clean, tidy bar Schedule • Monday to Friday: 5:45pm – 9:00pm, • Saturday and Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm What you’ll get • £12.71–£13.00 per hour for ages 21+, depending on experience, • £10.85 per hour for ages 18–20, • Commission on every membership you sell, • Full training on our menu and recipes, • A friendly, women-led team in a beautiful, newly renovated space How to apply Please include your CV and a short note telling us where you’ve worked as a barista, for how long, and which drinks you’re most confident making.
