This is a daytime position The role combines morning food preparation with afternoon service, so you must be confident working both independently and as part of a fast-paced kitchen team. Main responsibilities: • Preparing chicken strips, shrimp and wings, • Cooking steak, • Preparing fresh sauces, • Boiling pasta and preparing pasta sauces, • Making mac & cheese sauce, • Preparing coleslaw and other house-made items, • Portioning and organising food for service, • Maintaining correct prep and stock levels, • Following INAQ recipes and portion-control standards, • Completing HACCP, temperature and food-safety checks, • Date labelling, stock rotation and safe food storage, • Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, • Waste and rubbish management Afternoon service duties include: • Taking customer orders, • Preparing food boxes, • Frying chicken, shrimp, wings and fries, • Plating and finishing orders, • Packing takeaway and delivery orders, • Maintaining speed and accuracy during busy periods, • Keeping the service area clean and organised, • Supporting the opening shift team during service On Mondays and Tuesdays, you may be responsible for opening the kitchen and running the afternoon service independently before handing over to the evening team. On Friday–Sunday, you will work alongside the opening shift team and support them during afternoon service once the main prep is complete.
