Mechanical Supervisor – Permanent Role Locations: Edmonton We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our clients, with long-term projects based in Edmonton. You will lead site teams, provide technical support, and act as a key link between operatives, management, and clients. Key Responsibilities • Supervise on-site mechanical works and day-to-day operations, • Carry out dynamic risk assessments and identify health & safety hazards, • Mechanical fault finding and problem solving, • Oversee and support mechanical installations, • Plan daily works and allocate appropriate resources, • Provide technical guidance to site operatives, • Liaise with clients and project managers regarding access and planning, • Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate site records/diaries, • Ensure all safety procedures are followed and incidents are reported, • Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings, • Manage stock levels of materials and consumables Requirements • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, • Strong experience within an on-site mechanical engineering environment, • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred, • Good working knowledge of pumps, motors, pipework, and related systems, • CSCS card or equivalent, • Additional certifications (EUSR, IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels) beneficial but not essential, • Strong communication and organisational skills, • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively, • Proactive, reliable, and able to perform under pressure
