Were looking for a brilliant Pastry Chef to join the kitchen team at Gina . This is a key role within the kitchen, taking ownership of the pastry section across desserts and bread. Were looking for someone who is precise, organised and calm under pressure, with a strong eye for detail and a genuine love of pastry. Youll be responsible for the smooth running of the pastry section day to day, from prep and service through to ordering, stock, handovers and maintaining standards. Youll work closely with Rav, the Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef and the wider kitchen team on new dishes, menu changes and the ongoing development of the pastry offering at Gina. This role would suit someone who takes real pride in consistency, organisation and execution, and who enjoys being part of a collaborative, ambitious kitchen. The role As Pastry Chef, youll be responsible for: Running the pastry section across prep and service Producing consistent, high-quality desserts and bread every day Managing the bread programme and ensuring it runs smoothly Keeping the section clean, organised and fully prepared for each service Managing pastry ordering, stock and prep lists Communicating clearly with the senior chefs and wider kitchen team Supporting menu development, dish testing and recipe refinement Making sure new dishes are properly tested, costed and operationally workable before launch Training and supporting other chefs on pastry dishes, methods and standards Maintaining clear handovers between shifts About you Were looking for someone who: Has strong pastry experience in a professional kitchen Is confident taking ownership of a section Has excellent attention to detail Cares deeply about consistency and quality Is organised, tidy and able to plan ahead Communicates clearly and calmly Enjoys working as part of a team Is interested in developing new dishes and contributing ideas Takes pride in bread, desserts and the rhythm of a well-run section What good looks like The pastry section runs smoothly and calmly. Desserts and bread are consistent every day. Prep is organised, handovers are clear, and the section is clean, structured and ready for service. Youll be someone who notices the details, keeps standards high and helps the team understand and deliver the pastry offering properly.
